Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Oppal who also goes by Macy – Your Loyal, Loving, and Adorably Goofy Best Friend! Macy is a big-hearted, big-bodied beauty with a love for her people that knows no bounds. This gentle giant is all about snuggles, lounging, and soaking up affection from her favorite humans. Whether it’s a cozy night on the couch or an afternoon of playful zoomies, Macy is always ready to be by your side. However, Macy is looking for a very special home that understands her needs. She has a strong prey drive, which means squirrels and small animals are simply too tempting for her to ignore. Her future family will need to be physically capable of handling her enthusiasm on walks as she continues working on her leash manners. Macy is also quite the escape artist—she can clear a 4-foot fence with ease—so she needs a securely enclosed yard where she can roam safely. Because Macy is not a fan of other animals, she must be the only pet in the home. She thrives in an environment where she doesn’t have to share attention and can be her best, most affectionate self. While she’s not a fit for homes with other dogs or cats, she’s fantastic with people of all ages and is especially great with kids 6 and up. Macy’s ideal adopter will appreciate her loyalty, intelligence, and the endless love she has to give. She’s a work in progress, but with patience and structure, she will reward you with unwavering devotion and companionship. If you’re looking for a dog who will love you fiercely and keep you smiling every day, Macy might just be the perfect match!
