6 months old (estimated) Male (will be neutered prior to adoption) 25 lbs. and still growing Has done well with other dogs No known experience with cats or children More information coming soon! The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.January 30, 2025, 3:26 pm

Story
Meet Carmy! Age: Adult Weight: 50 pounds Housetrained: yes Crate trained: I don't do well in crates and the stress of being in one makes my tummy upset. Good with: Dogs, cats, kids (I love the kiddos!) Special needs: I have separation anxiety, so I take meds to help me feel better I'm a super happy and energetic boy and I love my humans so much! My favorite thing ever is to be outside with you – whether we are going for a walk around the neighborhood, a hike in the woods, or playing fetch in the yard. An active forever family would be so much fun! I like to play tug of war, chew on bones, solve brain games, and shake my favorite stuffies. I am super smart (maybe a little too smart sometimes), so I love to learn new tricks for treat rewards. I'd enjoy having other furry friends in my forever home, so I don’t get too lonely when you are gone. I love to wrestle and chase my dog friends and I like to cuddle with my cat friends (if they let me).    Since I have separation anxiety, I'll need my medication and an understanding family that is willing to work with me as I get used to their routine. In my foster home, I am now comfortable being home by myself for up to 8 hours during the daytime, but it took me several weeks to work up to that much time alone without being stressed.   I'm a pretty quiet dude, but I do bark and jump up when I get really excited – mostly when we are about to go outside for a walk. I’ve been working on my listening skills when I’m excited or distracted and I am getting better! Treats help :) I’m a big cuddler, but, fair warning, I will take up all your personal space on the couch or bed because I like to snuggle close. I can’t wait to find a forever family that is willing learn and grow with me. I promise to pay you back with lots of love and kisses! Carmy is fostered in the Madison, WI area. Story
Meet Juice! Age: senior Weight: 70 pounds Good with: dogs-but I don't need another to be happy, kids-I love kids!, I'd do best without cats, I love horses! Housetrained: yes Crate trained: no Now let me tell you all the things about me! I'm a great big “snuggle bear", and like being close to my humans - either snoozing in the dog bed while my foster dad works at home or following them around doing horse chores or outside work. My humans make me happy! After being tied up, alone, for so long, I don't love to be separated from them, but I can stay home alone with my dog siblings for work days just fine. (I cuddle with them on the sofa) I'm good with other dogs, but sometimes I think they might want to steal my food from me, so I eat separately from others, though I'll sit and wait patiently in line for snack time with others. I take treats very gently. I am making up for lost play years & like to try to keep up with the young dogs here once in a while when they get the zoomies & I enjoy chewing on antlers and playing with big stuffed toys & take myself on walks around the big fenced in yard. But, mostly, I am a chill guy who loves naps. I am good at walking on a leash & harness & am very friendly meeting new people & new dogs. I'll jump up on the couch to watch tv with you in the evening, and when we go to bed I'll give you goodnight kisses before I curl up for the night at your feet. In the morning, I'm sure to always be the last one out of bed! I'm the opitime of 'Jack of all trades, master of none', as long as I'm with my humans, I'll always be happy! I'd love to find a family of my own that is dog savvy and will understand if I'm not comfortable with something right away, and that can give me time to adjust to a new environment. I am a sweet, sensitive guy, so change is hard on my big heart. But, once you are my people, I am as affectionate & obedient & loving as they come! Do you think you might be my perfect fit? *Juice is being fostered in Mount Horeb, WI. Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Meet Charlotte! Age: Adult Weight: 48 pounds Breed: bulldog/pit mix (DNA test pending) Good with: Excellent with cats and dogs, does not live with children House/crate trained: yes Special needs: home with limited stairs, currently on medication that will need to continue for foreseeable future. Currently in physical therapy. Foster location: Menomonee Falls Charlotte is a sweet, easygoing pup who is happy to be leaving her past behind and enjoying the good life now that’s she’s become an Albert’s dog! Charlotte is dog and cat friendly and is enjoying all of the people she has met. She initially gets excited/jumpy when meeting groups of people but is working on settling quickly, she just loves to visit with people! She is house and crate trained and enjoys going on walks where she can show off her leash skills. Charlotte loves snoozing in warm spots and will continue to move throughout the day to ensure she’s napping in warm sunlight, such a cozy girl! Charlotte initially came into Albert’s care with skin issues/allergies and a bum leg. She has responded well to allergy meds as we identify the source of her allergies. She is currently taking pain meds to ease her leg pain and has recently started physical therapy. It is not yet determined what the next steps are for her leg but Albert’s continues to investigate what’s best for Charlotte and she’s taking her meds and PT like a champ. Charlotte is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. Shes calm and chill in most environments. She’s such a friendly and happy pup with so much love to give. She loves all the people she meets and loves going on adventure. She’s great in the car and is happy to ride shotgun. Is she the friendly, happy buddy that you’ve been looking for?
