Story
Adoptable 💙Peaches💙 is looking for her forever home! 🥰 Peaches was found as a stray in Georgia and soon found herself at the local animal shelter. She just made the trip up to Wisconsin on 10/26 and is doing really well in her foster home! 🐾 She is a silly, playful pup who loves other dogs and her people. She gets along with all the dogs she has met and does a good job matching energy to older dogs or younger puppies. She enjoys running around the yard, playing with toys, and going for walks with her foster family. She did great trick-or-treating with her foster family and was amazing with all the kids and commotion. She also gets along with cats. She is crate trained, working on potty training, good on the leash, and working on off-leash recall. She is not reactive over toys, treats, food, etc. She is an overall good girly who would be great for someone looking for a medium energy dog! She is also quite petite for a terrier mix and is only around 30 lbs at 7 months old. If you are interested in adopting, please check out our website and fill out an application: www.muttlife.org

She so far has had no accidents but shows signs of needing continuous training. Crimson came to us from another local rescue who needed help finding her new placement, or she faced having to be sent south. Story
Name: Bento Age: 1 year Breed: Shepherd Boxer Mix (DNA Tested) Gender: Male Weight: 60 Good with kids: Older Kids Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Curious/Playful. Will chase but can be redirected. Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Foster location: Appleton Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Adoption includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Bio: Reintroducing Bento to Our Pack! Back in March, he came to us from Chicago as a 4 month old puppy. Unfortunately not every home is fitting as a forever so he has made his was back to us to find the right family for him! Bento is a VERY active, excitable boy. As his mix may indicate, his personality really comes as no surprise. Bento is vocal when highly excited such as being able to stretch his legs when you get home. But his happy barks dont last long at all. He plays great with other dogs and would benefit from a companion ready to run and play with him. He is very respectful of the dogs not interested in his antics. Though very energetic and still being very much young dog, he is eager to please and smart. With a confident owner, he’ll be on a great path in life. Though, small kids are not ideal as he does not know how to control the excitement he feels watching them play. And well, he's a bit clumsy. Bento does well in a kennel, catch onto routines, hasn't had accidents, and hasn't had issues with resource guarding. If he does do something sassy, he is very easily redirected. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved.December 14, 2024, 6:44 am

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 11/17/24 Dog Name: Peter Sex: Male Neuter Status: Neutered Estimated Breed Mix: Boxer Mix Approximate Age: 1.5 Years Approximate Weight: 56 lbs Adoption Fee: $350 Description: Peter is a sweet boy who was owned by a family who travels a lot, unfortunately they never came for him, and he was an inside dog. I have a beautiful mixed brown coat with white socks and an off-centered stripe on my face. I don't talk much but I might whine for a bit if you leave and don't take me along, I don't want to be left behind again! I am quite content playing on my own and will play a bit with a squeaky toy or a bone. I will fetch, but I do get bored rather quickly.  I am eager to please and will put myself in a timeout if you tell me I'm naughty for, well, for doing something I guess I shouldn't have done. I take treats nicely and am learning to sit and wait for my meals. I like other dogs but am 50/50 on cats. They are quite interesting. I love to go outside and go for walks. I am always on the lookout for deer. This sweet boy is playful and loves affection! I am searching for my family! Could that be with you?        We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are 6 months to 1 year or age. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days.  at one of our preferred clinics. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs! Updated: 11/24/2024 Dog Name: Trooper (was Griffin when he first arrived in WI) Sex: Male Litter: GJ Litter Estimated Breed Mix: Boxer Mix Approximate DOB: 3/3/24 Approximate Weight: 58 lbs. Neuter Status: Trooper has been neutered Description: Trooper (originally his name was Griffin) first came to Wisconsin as an ~8 week old puppy. He was adopted quickly, but is now being surrendered back to the rescue. His adopter feels that they aren't the right match for each other, as he doesn't seem to enjoy things that she does, like camping.   Trooper loves people, kids, and cats. He is a very playful boy who will even play with the cat! He loves tug-of-war, fetch, and to chase his tail. He's still a puppy, so he's still got puppy energy. At times he can be a couch potato who loves to cuddle too. He's a food motivated boy, which should help his next adopter when continuing his training.  Thus far in his training, he knows sit, down, leave it, off, stay, walk, and heel. He's also housebroken.   The first picture is of him today, the others are of him as a puppy and his parents. Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 12/18/2024 Dog Name: Cannoli (formerly Jemma) Sex: Female Litter GJ Estimated Breed Mix: Boxer Mix  Approximate DOB: 3/3/24 Approximate Weight: 45 lbs. Spay Status: She's already been spayed Description: Cannoli is from a litter that was born in Texas (parents are in the photos). She was adopted soon after arriving in Wisconsin at about 2 months old. She lived most of her life so far in a home with 3 other dogs and a cat. She's great with the male dogs and playful with the cat, but hasn't been getting along with the female dog in the home, which is why we are looking to find her a new home.  She enjoys chewing on bones, wrestling her doggo brothers, and cuddling with and getting attention from her humans. She's great with people, but we think she would do best in a home where everyone is 10+ years old.  She knows 'sit,' 'stay,' and 'down.' When going for a walk she will pull a little bit but does well when walking with other dogs. She's potty trained, but will potty a little bit when she gets excited. Cannoli is also used to being crated while her humans are away. Overall she's a sweet girl that would be a great addition to families with older kids, male dogs, and or cats! Could your home be the right one for her? Adoption Fee: $450.00We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time.
