What an adorable little firecracker !! FULL of personality and afraid of nothing! She is confident, curious, LOVES the water and her baby pool. Often times she's the only one willing to get in. LAMAREY lives to be with other dogs and especially adores her humans. She is literally always happy! You cannot rain on her parade! She is kennel trained and almost house trained! She is a joy to have as part of our foster family. LAMAREY is with me in my home in Memphis, Tn. Once adopted , she will travel via Rescue Vet Transport to her new forever family. Once an application has been submitted and approved , I would be happy to speak with you and tell you all of the wonderful things about her ! You will find our volunteer team to be very responsive so please refrain from submitting an application until you are ready to welcome a new forever family member. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. at one of our preferred clinics. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. This sweet boy is Gus, he is half boxer and half pitty. He is 7 years old and is a wonderful companion. My ex-partner adopted him at 6 weeks old, one year after I adopted his older brother from the same mother. A year ago he was left solely in my care, and his main owner no longer wanted to care for him. I gladly kept him. A stray neighbor dog attacked my other dog while they were outside. It drastically changed Gus’s behavior and he became fearful of other dogs having witnessed that, and his brother needing to be separated so his injuries could heal. They struggled to completely trust each other from then on. We had to move from our home where I was able to accommodate giving each their own space. He is well trained and a great dog, he deserves a home where he is the sole pet. He does not do well with other dogs and would be very happy with anyone who can love him. His favorite snack is peanut butter and playing fetch. He loves to snuggle by your feet and curling for long naps.

I get along with the other dogs in my foster home, although I am a pretty intense fellow, so my forever doggy siblings would need to be okay with me annoying them sometimes. I can't help it - I love everyone! I haven't met a cat yet, but I have a minimal prey drive, so it's assumed I'll do just fine with a proper introduction.
