Ziggy is an older distiguished gentledog. He loves to be a couch potato. He does love going for a walk. He is always happy to see people and give them his paw. He follows commands and is crate trained. His nickname is "Tiger" because of his coat. He is very loving to people and selective to other dogs. Proper introduction is always a must. APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. In foster in Tumwater, WA ! He is a very VERY affectionate dog. He loves to play with dogs and adores affection from his humans! Please apply now! You can always email us with any questions, give us your number and good times to call if you wish. SCOOBY is a big boy...at least 66#. His estimated DOB is 1/5/2020...so he is almost 5 yrs old. He is a such a major lover and super wonderful dog. His ears and the way he is makes us think he's got to be part hound! He is a very FUN dog and loves playing with other dogs but he perhaps might be too exuberant with small dogs. He would be a great companion dog for a large breed dog or great as an only dog. He loves everyone and just wants to play. He has not had in-house training...in a shelter with lots of dogs, the big ones don't necessarily get the royal treatment. However, he is doing well in the house and loves to be near his humans. He has been leash-trained and loves to go on walks. After he gets rid of the initial excitement about going out, he walks gently on the leash. I do not trust him with a cat. If it runs, he will chase. He sees them as lots of fun. Scooby would be great with a family with older children. Smaller children would possibly get knocked down during playtime? He has zero aggression whatsoever. Check out our YouTube Video: https://youtu.be/KD9BUCFmQCs Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. Story
Meet Doc, one of a litter of six puppies that were abandoned at a construction site in La Paz, BCS, Mexico. Fortunately, Doc and his siblings were quickly rescued, and have thrived in their foster home with excellent care, growing into gorgeous, healthy young pups. Doc is kind of an independent little guy, but he does love cuddling with his humans. He plays hard with his sister, Oreo, but he is otherwise a pretty easy going little guy. Doc is fully vaccinated, sterilized and ready to find his forever home. Are you ready to make this sweet boy part of your family?

Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Adopted from Tacoma Humane society and tried to work with him to get along with our other older dog. They are constantly wrestling through house and outside in yard. On his own, is calmer and will play with toys and with you as owner. Approximate birthdate 5/14/2023. Sweet dog and wants to please. Lots of energy and needs walking. Responds well to authoritative voice commands. I am not sure he would be a good fit with kids even teens. Needs to be only dog in home as he has a hard time sharing attention with other pets. Very smart- can sit, down, shake, stay for short time, will go to crate or sleeping pad in TV room with command of "box". Needs consistent commands to allow him to relax and be his best. Is crate trained and I will supply crate. Is house broken and once you know his tell, you know when he needs to go out. Likes to snuggle next to you on couch. Is not food protective with people. Up to date on vaccines as of 10/2024 ( will provide records), negative fecal test 10/2024.
