Story
SNUGGLE? DID SOMEONE SAY "SNUGGLE"? My name is Tilly and I am a 2-year-old Boxer girl who loves, loves, loves to cuddle on the couch or the bed, gaze into your eyes and show my affection. I'm a great hugger, and a Velcro dog through and through. I love to play male dogs, but should be the only dog in the home due to my jealousy and resource-guarding tendencies. I will do well with an active person or people as I've got the typical Boxer energy. I love the beach, love to go for walks and love to go on hikes. At home, I'll happily sit on your lap to watch TV. I am extremely smart and attentive and adorable, and I weigh about 68 pounds. I'm currently in the Greater Seattle area. Please email for an application.

Story
Say hello to Bella, the charming and spirited pup who’s ready to steal your heart! Bella is all about playtime, especially with her fellow rescue pals—she could spend hours frolicking in the yard! While it may take her a little time to warm up, once Bella trusts you, she’ll shower you with endless affection and loyalty. Bella thrives on slow introductions with well-balanced dogs, making her an ideal companion for other furry friends that match her energy. She’s crate-trained and settles in easily, though her playful nature means doggy beds don’t stand a chance—they quickly become her favorite toys! Highly motivated by treats, Bella is eager to learn and responds well to training. She walks well on a leash but can get easily distracted, so a gentle leader might help her focus during outings. Though Bella prefers the comforts of home, she’ll need a little encouragement to embrace the joys of a walk. She can feel anxious around other dogs on her adventures, sometimes expressing her excitement a bit loudly. But remember, every rescue has their quirks, and Bella’s incredible qualities far outweigh any challenges! Bella is ready to find her forever home with a family that understands and loves her just as she is. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who will fill your days with joy, Bella is the perfect match! To add Bella to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2149754##

Story
Darling Chowder is also known as Mr Sweet and Gentle. He’s just a little over a year old and currently weighs only 48 lbs. He will be nicely filled out at about 55lbs. Chowder is such a gentle tempered, somewhat submissive boy that loves to meet new people. A socially active home would be ideal. He also thrives on his playtime with other dogs so another dog in the home would be best. He even gets along with the kitties. At some time in his early puppyhood, Chowder received an injury to his front elbow. It has fully healed, although the bone is a little displaced. This has caused one front leg to be shorter than the other so he does walk with a limp. He definitely does not know something is out of place because he loves to run and wrestle with the other dogs in his playgroup. According to the orthopedic specialist, he has no limitations when running around a yard or going for walks. He may even go hiking, but no jogging for this boy. With regular potty breaks, Chowder is doing great with his crate and house training. He must have a securely fenced yard and kids must be over 10yrs old. If you would like to meet this wonderful boy please email k9cabbie@gmail.com and include your phone number.  Adoption fee is $450October 30, 2024, 7:45 pm

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Cody is a 5 - 6 year old Boxer mix who is looking for a loving, active and structured forever home! He is sweet but had a rough beginning so will need a rescue experienced home that will help him build trust, learn basic obedience and gain confidence. He will bond to his people and loves attention and affection. He loves treats and is glad to work for them! He has not had a lot of training so will need support with continued basic obedience. He is looking for a home that is adult only or with kids over the age of 16. He will thrive in a home where he can be active, he loves to run around, go for walks, and would make an excellent outdoor activity partner. Cody can do well with other dogs but it is always best to do proper introductions to make sure it is a good match and that all parties 'mesh'. Cody would do best in a home with a large fenced yard where he can run, roam and play. Cody is UTD on shots, has had a dental, is microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
Meet Abby! This beautiful 8-month-old, 33-pound princess is truly the most adorable and cute little girl you'll ever meet. She is a little survivor of 12, her mom was abandoned and at one day old, Abby and her 11 siblings were left in a box in the middle of nowhere with no shade. When we came for them after receiving a report from a neighbor of the owner, there were only 5 babies left alive, and we found the rest already dead inside a plastic bag with a knot in it. Abby grew up happy with her litter, they are very active and loving little ones. She is learning to walk on her leash, lives well with dogs and cats and is the most chubby of her litter. She is the smiliest and is very intelligent. It would be ideal for her to grow up in a home with children, she likes walks and although she is a little shy at first, she usually comes out of her shell quickly. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washignton. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Heidi - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! My name is Heidi, full of youthful exuberance for life, innocence and curiosity. Ready to crawl right into your heart (won't take long either!!) and be a part of a family...YOUR family! I am still a youngster yet, a big puppy at heart! I have lots of energy and am quite agile. I could be a great candidate for obedience classes and maybe even some fun ones like agility classes. I'm a smart cookie (i know cuz my foster mom tell me so!) and catch on quickly. At 11 months and around 45lbs, I shouldn't get much bigger at my adult weight. What a perfect size for...everything! Neighborhood strolls, nature hikes(aaaah, all those wonderful tantalizing smells), camping, being a co-pilot for errand runs or trips to the park! You name it, I'm ready to give it a whirl and have a blast too (with whatever it is) just cuz we're doing it together!! And the bestest part is that I'm also small enough that I don't hog the whole couch for my cherished cuddle time!! My foster mom wanted you to know this about me - -she is housebroken -she wants to be a lap dog; -she would fit well with an adult home with older children; -with her high prey drive she should be in a home without small dogs or cats but will do well with her size or larger size breed of dogs; -she is a fast learner and will shine with an owner that will include her in their everyday life adventures; -she is crate trained; -she follows basic commands and walks well on leash; -she thrives on daily walks; -she’s a family dog and will make a fabulous family member; -she loves walks, hikes, exploring, tug of war and games using her nose and sparking her intelligence; -she’s quite agile and shows ability in figuring out how to jump over or crawl under set obstacles. She is happy, fun loving and eager to bring joy to her forever home! As my short sleek coat is low maintenance in the grooming department, making me more of a wash-n-to type of gal. And you do know what that means don't you?!! Oh yep yep, lots of extra time in the 'spoil me rotten' department. And you know that's what it's all about!! ;) Big on personality, smart and inquisitive, affectionate and sweet, my oh my I have a boatload of great traits going on, oh and don't forget my stunning good looks, to make me a great family addition, I just need the family...could it be YOUR family?

These pups are in Shoreline, Washington too!

Story
HI - I'M BENJI! I'm a handsome 3-year-old Pit-Boxer mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was rescued from a California shelter awhile back, where I was impounded as a stray, and now am waiting for someone to choose me! I'm a sweetheart and oh-so-gentle. I'm the kind of dogs who loves a good snuggle on a cozy couch. My mellow nature makes me a perfect companion for those quiet moments. I'm loyal too, always sticking by my friends. Speaking of friends, I get along well with my canine neighbors at my current location. I'm also quite the poser for pictures, and am quite handsome and attentive. I walk well on a leash and am an easy pal to have around. But what I'd love more than anything is a family to call my own. I promise to be the best friend you've ever had. I weigh 57 lbs. MEET BRUCE, a 5-year-old dog with a heart full of love and loyalty. He's a sweet soul, always eager to share a friendly wag or a gentle nuzzle. He's brave, unafraid to explore new environments, and is a cuddle expert, making him the perfect companion for cozy evenings. He's been good with kids and non-destructive, making him a wonderful addition to families with older children (due to his size). He gets along well with some dogs, but is a big boy so needs a strong and experienced owner. Born in a shelter and later dumped by his people, Bruce knows the value of a loving home. His sweet nature and gentle disposition make him a perfect companion. He weighs about 80 lbs.

Story
MEET SARAH. This very sweet Pit Bull Terrier was given up by her owner recently due to marital problems in the home. This was devastating for Sarah, who was adopted at only 8 weeks old, and now is about 3-5 years old (we think) due to her white teeth. Sarah also lost her canine pals when her home fell apart. She is clearly overweight - she weighs about 80 pounds and is now on a diet! :) She loves kids and other big dogs, but does not do well with cats or little dogs. Despite her sad story, Sarah is adjusting well and is truly a lovebug. She needs a foster or forever home. Please email for an application.
