Story
Bubbles 2 YO Female 55 Pounds Dog Friendly Leash Trained Fostered in Yelm, WA Hi, I'm Bubbles! If you are reading this, then I know you will want to meet me. I have yet to meet someone I haven't liked, I will show you how much with a big Boxer hug. I love car rides and snuggles, walks are nice too. I have been working very hard in my foster home to learn leash manners and all the things you look for in a well behaved young lady. I do love my foster brother, but sometimes I forget that I don’t have to guard my toys and foster mom from him. I just need gentle reminders and encouragement to know that its ok to share.  My foster brother and I have a lot of fun together,  we do zoomies in the yard every day and even around the house sometimes. My foster brother knows that I like to be the boss and he lets me, so it would be best if I have any siblings that they are more submissive because I like to be the girl in charge. I am not aggressive or possessive over my food, my foster brother and I eat together, just in separate corners. I know that I would really enjoy a buddy in my new home. I have grown very fond of my foster family and don’t enjoy it when they leave, but I am patient when left free roaming in the house while they are gone. I have been very respectful, not destructive, and haven't chewed up anything. Crates are scary for me so I would prefer to wait and watch out the window till you get home. At night I would love to sleep in bed with you sharing a pillow, but I do just fine on my dog bed next to you if that’s not your thing. I am looking for an active family that will continue my training, help me feel secure and safe, and allow me to show you all of the Boxer love, hugs, and snuggles you can handle. See, I knew you would want to meet me so click my link! Bella 2.5 YO 60 Pounds Leash Trained Hi, I’m Bella!, I am a gorgeous sweet girl that is in the process of learning a lot of new skills and settling in to life with stability, and routine. I have blossomed into the most devoted and loyal dog partner anyone could want. I am learning about what life should be like for me, I am learning how to play and enjoy life. I am a delight in the house so I have not needed a crate, although, I could learn to use one. I really enjoy car rides, belly rubs, and walks, of course the finest things in life. I have a natural tail that starts first thing in the morning and goes all day. I am an all-around happy girl that is looking or an active family that is willing to continue to help me bloom with training, and building routines. Story
Hi, I'm Buddy! I'm a very handsome guy, with the most velvety ears. I am said to have “big cuddle energy”. You may have heard that I'm blind, but it doesn't bother me, I get around on my own with no issues. My foster mom spent time safeguarding the house before I arrived, but I showed her right away that I my other stellar senses make-up for my eyes. I can easily find my food and water, I run up and down the stairs, figured out the dog door in one day, and have no trouble getting in the car for adventures, in fact, I love adventures! I am also perfectly potty-trained, and crate-trained. My hearing is very good, I overheard my foster mom say that my blindness has caused me to feel a little vulnerable and on alert util I have a chance to do my own research. I do use my skills to alert the neighbors to any strange noises, and it takes a little extra time for me to trust new people, dogs, and learn new sounds. I may enjoy and feel safe in a home with a buddy, but I would need a slow introduction, and maybe need a female friend. Physical touch is my love language; I always want to have my paws on you. However, I'm learning that not everyone likes that, so we are working on not jumping and standing on you. I am very loving, and I show love for my people when I kiss and nibble their ears, probably why I'm the only dog allowed on the couch here. I am looking for a quiet, patient home that will share a lot of love and physical touch with me, a family that will have time to hang out, take me on adventures, and continue my training. If you think that we would be a good fit, I would love to show you what getting your ear nibbled is like, you will love it! Click my link so we can meet. If you would like to adopt him, fill out an adoption application on our website www.nwboxerrescue.org Like us on facebook for more photos of this handsome boy, as well as other boxers we have available!  www.facebook.com/northwestboxerrescue December 16, 2024, 6:01 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Rose! I am a beautiful middle age gal, that is so cute and so snuggly. If I see a lap, I will crawl right up to cuddle, and since I'm quite petite, I can fit into any lap. What luck! I love going for walks on a sunny day, my foster family takes me and my foster brother into the woods near their house. I love to run and explore there, and I have been known to dive into a nearby bush to see what critter might be living under there. When you get out my harness and leash, I'll spin around and do a tap dance to show you just how excited I am to go for a walk! I've learned to sit for harnessing, but I still need to practice waiting at the door because once I'm leashed up I'm ready to goooooo! I'm also new to all this rain and darkness in the PNW, so please help me learn that it's Ok and keep me walking. I would love a buddy in my new home to go on walks with. Car rides are Ok with me! I've even taken the ferry! I can jump into the car on my own and I settle once the car is moving. It is tempting to explore what's outside the windows so be sure to clip my leash into the seatbelt. I have learned to share a bed with my foster brother and I can eat in the same room as him (though I have to be reminded to let him finish before I help clean up any mess he leaves behind). I prefer to have all the human attention on me, so I might be best as an only pup or with one that doesn’t care if I keep all the attention for myself. But I'll give you so much love that you won't need anyone else! If you think that I’m the gal for you, click my link so we can go for a walk. Story
Mary 12 years old Female 50 pounds Good with other dogs Fostered in McMinnville, OR Mary is an 11-year-old girl with a heart as big as her soulful brown eyes. Life may have thrown her a few challenges—like a hip injury that healed a bit crooked, giving her a unique little swagger—but Mary doesn’t let that slow her down. She gets around just fine and still enjoys the occasional trot around the yard. With a few distinguished lumps and bumps that come with her years of wisdom, Mary is proof that beauty only grows with age. Her bloodwork is good, her pearly whites are in great shape for her age, and her sweet, easygoing nature makes her a dream companion. Mary's favorite things are simple: a soft spot to nap, some tasty snacks, and as much love as you’re willing to give. She’s wonderfully quiet, gets along well with other dogs, and doesn’t ask for much—just a warm, safe place to call home for her golden years. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance sweetheart who will reward your kindness with unconditional love and loyalty, Mary is your girl.
