APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. In foster in Tumwater, WA ! He is a very VERY affectionate dog. He loves to play with dogs and adores affection from his humans! Please apply now! You can always email us with any questions, give us your number and good times to call if you wish. SCOOBY is a big boy...at least 66#. His estimated DOB is 1/5/2020...so he is almost 5 yrs old. He is a such a major lover and super wonderful dog. His ears and the way he is makes us think he's got to be part hound! He is a very FUN dog and loves playing with other dogs but he perhaps might be too exuberant with small dogs. He would be a great companion dog for a large breed dog or great as an only dog. He loves everyone and just wants to play. He has not had in-house training...in a shelter with lots of dogs, the big ones don't necessarily get the royal treatment. However, he is doing well in the house and loves to be near his humans. He has been leash-trained and loves to go on walks. After he gets rid of the initial excitement about going out, he walks gently on the leash. I do not trust him with a cat. If it runs, he will chase. He sees them as lots of fun. Scooby would be great with a family with older children. Smaller children would possibly get knocked down during playtime? He has zero aggression whatsoever. Check out our YouTube Video: https://youtu.be/KD9BUCFmQCs Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Story
Meet Doc, one of a litter of six puppies that were abandoned at a construction site in La Paz, BCS, Mexico. Fortunately, Doc and his siblings were quickly rescued, and have thrived in their foster home with excellent care, growing into gorgeous, healthy young pups. Doc is kind of an independent little guy, but he does love cuddling with his humans. He plays hard with his sister, Oreo, but he is otherwise a pretty easy going little guy. Doc is fully vaccinated, sterilized and ready to find his forever home. Are you ready to make this sweet boy part of your family?

Story
Meet Lilo! *we are trying to find a home to accept our VERY bonded pair, applications to take Lilo and her brother Oliver (separate profile) will be considered first* Lilos strengthsshe is a beautiful, spayed, blue eyed, all over white with a few light brown freckles, pittie and high energy girl! At a spry 6 years old, she LOVES to play fetch with her favorite ball. She loves adventure and does great on car rides - swimming in a lake during summer is her Super Bowl! she is strong but gentle, shes a tall land seal made of muscle and endless kisses. Lilos weaknesses - she has a prey drive (bunnies, birds, cats, etc). Shes good with kids but does like her bodily autonomy/not climbed on. And very oddly, lilo is afraid of bicycles! Not sure why but she grumbles at them from the window of the car when driving 😂 *Lilo was recently evaluated for an intermittent limp- no bone break. Just soft tissue damage that needs time to heal but with us moving, time is against us*

Story
Meet Oliver! *we are trying to find a home to accept our VERY bonded pair, interest in taking Oliver and his sister Lilo will be considered with priority* our family is DEVASTATED at this need to rehome* Oliver’s strengths: Oliver is a handsome petite pittie at 50-55lbs. He has the cutest little windmill tail wag and is ALWAYS happy. He has suffered terrible animal cruelty in the first year of his life, so at newly 6 years old, he has come SO far and imprints on “his people”! Blankets and pillows are his bread and butter! Olivers weaknesses: Oliver has a high prey drive which includes dogs smaller than him, cats, etc. He is NOT a runner but he has escaped our chain link fence twice to try to catch a bunny. Wood fence only. Due to his past life experience and having trust issues, he can be leash reactive (out of fear, not aggression). Oliver is truly the SWEETEST BOY, he just needs a little extra time to warm up!

Story
Freya was adopted from an individual at 6 months old, as a companion for our young family, and for our similar aged neutered male dog. She lives with cats and is cautious of them, and is fine with older children. She tends to be anxious, and is unpredictable with other dogs. When she was an only dog after fights with our other female spayed dog, her personality really opened up; she has been much more relaxed and joyful. She deserves to have this environment for the rest of her life. She is in good physical condition, loves to play and cuddle, or nap in front of a fire on a cold night. She is not on prescription food, and only requires occasional pain medication if she plays too hard. She is a good girl, and deserves a better home environment than we can give her.
