Story
King 2 YO 100 Pounds Dog & Dog Savvy Kids Crate & Leash Trained Fostered in Creswell, OR   Hi, I’m King! I want to tell my heartwarming story of resilience. I am a sweet former stray pup who has survived the streets with charm and smarts.  My foster says I have the most soulful eyes that tell anyone who looks that I have lived some hard times, have some stories, and am on the road to a new and better tomorrow. I am the kind of pup that bonds with my human and if I have the chance, I will velcro to your side every minute possible, I don’t want to miss out on any of the good things and I am fiercely loyal. I am always eager to go with my fosters wherever they go, whether it's a stroll in the park, a walk on the beach, or a cozy evening  on  the couch. With every wag of my tail, I show a deep seated desire for love, understanding, and safety. It's just me saying that, I had a rough start and am a little rough around the edges, but I'll  do whatever you ask me to.  Teach me, love me, and I will be your loyal companion for life.  I have a gentle nature, am submissive, loyal and loving with a dash of mischievous for spice. There has to be some spice in life, right? I am hoping for the right person to love and be loyal to, and am looking for the good life. I really don’t require much, I would be thrilled with just one person to focus on, my primary person, with a spare or two to cuddle now and then. I would enjoy a fur sibling to play with of the K9 variety. I am still young and a puppy in many ways so I am still learning and honing my skills. I feel I need to protect my home and family so I will let you know when we have visitors, once I know they are welcome, I will welcome them with tail wags.  I am good with kids but am a big boy so dog savvy kids would be ideal for me. If you are looking for a big, young boy, that will show you fierce love, loyalty, and companionship, then I am your guy. I am hoping for the love and patience of an active family that will continue to work with me on my skills, manners, and show me all of the good things a loving family can be. Click my link so we can meet and go for a walk. Story
Magnus 3 YO 63 Pounds Kid & Dog Friedly Crate & Leash Trained Fostered in Orting, WA Hi, I’m Magnus! I am searching high and low for a forever family that has a strong leader that will show me the ropes. I need to do my research about people and new situations, survey the land so to speak. It would be ideal if I could find a family that will work with me and be consistent so I can be the best dog. I love going on walks and car rides, but sneaking a snuggle session with my people is my most favorite thing. I also really love to play with the other dogs, just one at a time though as multiple dogs at once tend to make me a little nervous. I am hoping for a yard or somewhere that you could watch me do my zoomies, because I am super-fast. Playing tag in the yard with my foster family is always fun, mostly because I’m never it! My peeps just can’t catch me but boy do I get tired after a while. I would also love to have kids in my family but older or dog savvy kids would be best as they don’t tend to leave all the little kid toys all over for me to chew on, but I will drop something when I’m told or leave it if you see me approaching something I shouldn’t. I can’t wait for a meet and greet with you! You will not regret it, that's for sure, I am an all around loving, active, playful guy that would make a great addition to your family. Story
Barkley 2 YO 52 Pounds Crate & Leash Trained Kid Friendly Fostered in Federal Way, WA Howdy folks, I’m  Barkley! My foster dad call me Barkalini, and I love it.  Not to toot my own horn, but I am the coolest Boxer in town! I am the epitome of chill, always ready to make new furry friends, and greet everyone with my wagging tail. I absolutely love being outdoors, whether it's a hike in the woods or a lazy day in the park, just don't ask me to deal with sprinklers—those are my sworn enemy! I am a pro on the leash, making walks a breeze and so much fun. My friendly demeanor makes me a hit with other dogs, kids, and people alike. With my laid-back attitude and love for adventure, I would be the perfect companion for any outing. I currently use a doggy door well when left at home and need to go out, you'll find me doing zoomies at 5 am, 2 pm, and 9 pm with my Boxer sister. I would love to have a buddy in my new home to pal around with and continue my zoomie routine. I am good at joining in on barking adventures with my friends but know when to cut it off. I don’t mind car rides but my preference is the safety and security of the ground. Like most boxers, my floppy lips store food and water and make me a mess sometimes, but I chalk it up to what makes me so handsome and charming. My laid-back attitude, love for adventure, and cuddly nature, make me the perfect companion for any outing and any family. If you are looking for a guy like me, click my link. Story
Mable 5 YO 52 Pounds Kid Friendly Crate Trained Fostered in Maple Valley, WA Hi, I’m Mable! My foster says I could make a fortune if I opened a kissing both. I think I may offer my services to the rescue for a fundraiser. Kissing is my favorite thing to do, it is my love language. Doing zoomies in the back yard is my second favorite activity. When I wear out I have to drink some water and take a nap in my kennel, it is the life, a routine like this that involves napping, you can’t go wrong. I love my people, so when I can see you, even from my crate, I am very happy, I don’t care to be left alone. I am learning to enjoy the car rides, mostly because that way I am with my people. I am getting better all the time and have made great progress jumping in and out. I am very food motivated so it makes learning all the new things very easy like walking on a leash, and it is helping put on some healthy weight. My foster parents have me confused with a cat and have taught me to do my business in the gravel part of the back yard, it works though, I have nice grass to play in with their 4-year-old grandson. I am very gentle with everyone especially with kids and my toys, I really enjoy kids, but may need a little more sniff time with the new adults I meet. A quick sniff of your hand will help me trust you. I am a very happy and friendly gal, my little tail wiggles all the time and my face will light up any room. I am not sure about other dogs, so I need more time to get used to being around them, slow and calm setting introductions may help me make friends with others. I am looking for a family that will continue my training, let me love them and of course kiss them, and show them all of the wonderful Boxer qualities that I have. If you would like to meet me and see what all this kissing is about, click my link. Story
Mason 8 YO 70 Pounds Kid & Dog Friendly Crate & Leash Trained Fostered in Grants Pass, OR Hi, I’m Mason! There is absolutely nothing that you won’t love about me! Despite my many scars from recent and old injuries, I am the most handsome and healthy white Boxer boy with stellar character. I have been in rescue with the most amazing foster family and have been doing great. I am a happy fun boy with a gentle soul and a little playful heart. My foster mom says I am a big, soft, and squishy marshmallow, I take that as a compliment. I am sweet, gentle, loving, and patient. I enjoy snuggles, long naps, short walks, and an occasional game of ball or play sessions with humans and fur pals. I am extremely well mannered when left alone, I rest comfortably in my bed, and when playing gently with others dogs big and small.  When you leave me home, I may try to enjoy the goodies on your kitchen counter from time to time if they aren’t put away, so I will help you keep your kitchen tidy. There are a lot of new things for me in my foster home, and with all of my unexplained scars, you would think that I would have some fear or hang-ups, but I really don’t, I am just a gentle guy that is mostly curious and looking for my forever home. I am happy to follow you wherever you go, even if it’s just for a wander around the yard, or a drive around. My foster mom says I am the very best boy and that my new family with be the luckiest family to have me. I would love to be your companion, and it would be ideal if there was a fur companion for me too. If you are looking for a calm, genuine, gentle guy like me, click my link to meet me. Story
Remi 1 year old Male Boxer-Shepherd Fostered in Beaverton, OR   Meet Remi, a big loving, and curious 1 yo boxer-shepherd with lots of fun puppy energy! He thrives on daily walks and absolutely loves playing in the water. His playful nature and adventurous spirit make him such a joy to be around.   Remi needs regular exercise like any young energetic pup and a spacious, fenced yard to explore. He’s housebroken, uses a doggy door, and is crate trained, though he prefers to roam free indoors and is a good boy. Providing him with plenty of chew toys is essential, as he loves to chew though!   Well-behaved and with basic obedience training, Remi gets along well with men, women, children, and other dogs. Remi is a bit fearful of new people due to his lack of socialization but he warms up quickly.    Remi would thrive with an active family who understands his fearful nature and can help him with his confidence through more training, regular safe social outings and patience while he blossoms into the best boy ever. We would love to see him find a forever home with an established confident older pup to help him feel safe. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic companion, Remi is ready to find his forever home. If you’re ready to meet your next buddy, consider submitting an application today. Story
Scotty is the whole package - adorable, smart, and social. This 72 lb 2-year-old pitty mix is one of our "doggy playgroup" rockstars! He plays well with everyone from our biggest dogs to our tiniest pups. He is very good at modulating his typically rambunctious play style to suit the dog he's playing with. He would do great in a home with another dog. Scotty is looking for a strong and confident dog person. He is easily motivated (by both food and attention) and has completed basic manners training.
