Story
Darling Chowder is also known as Mr Sweet and Gentle. He’s just a little over a year old and currently weighs only 48 lbs. He will be nicely filled out at about 55lbs. Chowder is such a gentle tempered, somewhat submissive boy that loves to meet new people. A socially active home would be ideal. He also thrives on his playtime with other dogs so another dog in the home would be best. He even gets along with the kitties. At some time in his early puppyhood, Chowder received an injury to his front elbow. It has fully healed, although the bone is a little displaced. This has caused one front leg to be shorter than the other so he does walk with a limp. He definitely does not know something is out of place because he loves to run and wrestle with the other dogs in his playgroup. According to the orthopedic specialist, he has no limitations when running around a yard or going for walks. He may even go hiking, but no jogging for this boy. With regular potty breaks, Chowder is doing great with his crate and house training. He must have a securely fenced yard and kids must be over 10yrs old.

Story
Name: MollyBreed: Boxer mix.Sex: FemaleAge: 1 year old.Size: Medium.10 kg/22 lbs  Molly is a very active and happy dog with a playful and protective personality. She was found alone on the street on a rainy day, suffering from anemia and infested with fleas. Her condition was so severe that you could see her bones. Sadly, she was a victim of violence, which has left her fearful of homeless and elderly people. Her rescuer loves her but recently had surgery so she is not able to take care of her anymore. Molly is good at walking on a leash, goes to the bathroom in the designated spot, and is ready for more training due to her good temperament. Molly needs a family that enjoys an active lifestyle, including walks and runs to help manage her energy. She responds in an environment with well-defined boundaries and ongoingtraining. She gets along with dogs and kids. She loves playing with her toys and taking walks and once she trusts you she will love and protect you unconditionally. Up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed and heartworm negative Molly is waiting in Mexico for a chance to come the WA. Story
Special Considerations: no other pets, available for permanent foster Meet Tesla! This snuggly girl was dumped by her breeder and has been with us her entire life! She is the most loving dog you will ever meet and quickly became a staff favorite. She has a neurologic disorder that causes fecal incontinence, but she’s very familiar with diapers and prefers to go outside. She loves chasing water from the hose and chewing her toys, but she really loves cuddling up on your lap. She doesn't like to share her people or things so she needs to be the only pet in the home, but she’s the best cuddler with her favorite people. If you’ve been looking for the most wonderful and wiggliest boxer, Tesla is your girl! Tesla is current on vaccines, spayed and microchipped.

Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. SCOOBY is a big boy...at least 66#. His estimated DOB is 1/5/2020...so he is almost 5 yrs old. He is a very FUN dog and loves playing with other dogs but he is exuberant and easily intimidates smaller dogs. He would be a great companion dog for a large breed dog. He loves everyone and just wants to play. He has not had in-house training...in a shelter with lots of dogs, the big ones don't necessarily get the royal treatment. He has been leash-trained and loves to go on walks. After he getS rid of the initial excitement about going out, he walks gently on the leash. I do not trust him with a cat. If it runs, he will chase. He sees them as lots of fun. Scooby would be great with a family with older children. Smaller children would probably get knocked down during playtime. He needs a home with large back yard, I would not recommend him for an apartment. Check out our YouTube Video: https://youtu.be/KD9BUCFmQCs This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.
