WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Heidi - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! My name is Heidi, full of youthful exuberance for life, innocence and curiosity. Ready to crawl right into your heart (won't take long either!!) and be a part of a family...YOUR family! I am still a youngster yet, a big puppy at heart! I have lots of energy and am quite agile. I could be a great candidate for obedience classes and maybe even some fun ones like agility classes. I'm a smart cookie (i know cuz my foster mom tell me so!) and catch on quickly. At 11 months and around 45lbs, I shouldn't get much bigger at my adult weight. What a perfect size for...everything! Neighborhood strolls, nature hikes(aaaah, all those wonderful tantalizing smells), camping, being a co-pilot for errand runs or trips to the park! You name it, I'm ready to give it a whirl and have a blast too (with whatever it is) just cuz we're doing it together!! And the bestest part is that I'm also small enough that I don't hog the whole couch for my cherished cuddle time!! My foster mom wanted you to know this about me - -she is housebroken -she wants to be a lap dog; -she would fit well with an adult home with older children; -with her high prey drive she should be in a home without small dogs or cats but will do well with her size or larger size breed of dogs; -she is a fast learner and will shine with an owner that will include her in their everyday life adventures; -she is crate trained; -she follows basic commands and walks well on leash; -she thrives on daily walks; -she’s a family dog and will make a fabulous family member; -she loves walks, hikes, exploring, tug of war and games using her nose and sparking her intelligence; -she’s quite agile and shows ability in figuring out how to jump over or crawl under set obstacles. She is happy, fun loving and eager to bring joy to her forever home! As my short sleek coat is low maintenance in the grooming department, making me more of a wash-n-to type of gal. And you do know what that means don't you?!! Oh yep yep, lots of extra time in the 'spoil me rotten' department. And you know that's what it's all about!! ;) Big on personality, smart and inquisitive, affectionate and sweet, my oh my I have a boatload of great traits going on, oh and don't forget my stunning good looks, to make me a great family addition, I just need the family...could it be YOUR family?

Story
Meet Rosie, a super sweet girl with a heart as big as Texas! Rosie had a bit of an adventurous stint as a stray, but now she's all set to find her perfect forever home.Rosie is a furry socialite who gets along wonderfully with her fellow doggie pals. However, she does have one little quirk—cats and Rosie aren't exactly a match made in heaven. Those frisky felines tend to trigger her playful chase instincts! When it comes to humans, Rosie is a total cuddlebug. She's convinced she's a lap dog and won't hesitate to hop right up for some quality snuggle time. But here's the fun part: Rosie's got a spirited teenage attitude. When she's told "no" or caught doing something she shouldn't, she's not one to back down quietly—she'll talk back with all the sass!If you're ready to bring a sweet and silly addition to your family, Rosie is more than prepared for her forever home. And yes, she's absolutely transportable, so don't let the Texas distance discourage you, transport only costs $230. Apply today and let the fun begin! Story
Animal Profile: Paige is an estimated 3-year-old, 65 lb female Boxer Pitbull mix who was a stray intake at the Lancaster shelter in Los Angeles County. She was kenneled with another dog where she was very shut down and nervous. We pulled her from the euthanasia list and are getting to know her in foster care.  Foster Update: Paige is a sweet dog with plenty of enthusiasm for life! She can be an only dog or part of a multiple dog household with proper introduction and structure -- she is not a fan of "puppy energy" in her space. She is a super sweet dog whois calm 90% of the time and very excited to see you the other 10%. She loves spending time with her people and does very well at dog friendly establishments like cafes and breweries! She loves to go on adventures with you and does great in the car. Paige would do best with someone who is able to spend lots of time with her at home (work from home is great) or take her places with them -- she does have separation anxiety and does not like to be left alone. Paige has excellent leash manners and does very well on walks. She  will need a secure yard and not to be out alone in it. She has a calm disposition and has done fine with the a dog-savvy resident cat. She has done great with the people in her foster home, including a dog-savvy pre-teen. She is potty trained and is using a large plastic travel crate that she feels secure in as it is only open in the front. If you are looking for an adventure dog who likes to chill when you are home, Paige is your gal! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current core vaccinations per AVMA standards, negative heartworm test and microchip with lifetime registration. Adoption fees benefit all the animals in our rescue, and may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was rescued from the the high kill Lancaster animal shelter and transported to Seattle area foster care 9/22/24. This dog will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.December 7, 2024, 4:05 pm

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Cody is a 5 - 6 year old Boxer mix who is looking for a loving, active and structured forever home! He is sweet but had a rough beginning so will need a rescue experienced home that will help him build trust, learn basic obedience and gain confidence. He will bond to his people and loves attention and affection. He loves treats and is glad to work for them! He has not had a lot of training so will need support with continued basic obedience. He is looking for a home that is adult only or with kids over the age of 16. He will thrive in a home where he can be active, he loves to run around, go for walks, and would make an excellent outdoor activity partner. Cody can do well with other dogs but it is always best to do proper introductions to make sure it is a good match and that all parties 'mesh'. Story
Meet Abby! This beautiful 8-month-old, 33-pound princess is truly the most adorable and cute little girl you'll ever meet. She is a little survivor of 12, her mom was abandoned and at one day old, Abby and her 11 siblings were left in a box in the middle of nowhere with no shade. When we came for them after receiving a report from a neighbor of the owner, there were only 5 babies left alive, and we found the rest already dead inside a plastic bag with a knot in it. Abby grew up happy with her litter, they are very active and loving little ones. She is learning to walk on her leash, lives well with dogs and cats and is the most chubby of her litter. She is the smiliest and is very intelligent. It would be ideal for her to grow up in a home with children, she likes walks and although she is a little shy at first, she usually comes out of her shell quickly. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washignton. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.

Story
Say hello to Bella, the charming and spirited pup who’s ready to steal your heart! Bella is all about playtime, especially with her fellow rescue pals—she could spend hours frolicking in the yard! While it may take her a little time to warm up, once Bella trusts you, she’ll shower you with endless affection and loyalty. Bella thrives on slow introductions with well-balanced dogs, making her an ideal companion for other furry friends that match her energy. She’s crate-trained and settles in easily, though her playful nature means doggy beds don’t stand a chance—they quickly become her favorite toys! Highly motivated by treats, Bella is eager to learn and responds well to training. She walks well on a leash but can get easily distracted, so a gentle leader might help her focus during outings. Though Bella prefers the comforts of home, she’ll need a little encouragement to embrace the joys of a walk. She can feel anxious around other dogs on her adventures, sometimes expressing her excitement a bit loudly. But remember, every rescue has their quirks, and Bella’s incredible qualities far outweigh any challenges! Bella is ready to find her forever home with a family that understands and loves her just as she is. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who will fill your days with joy, Bella is the perfect match! To add Bella to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2149754##

Story
Animal Profile: Rita is an estimated 18-month old 55 lb now spayed female pitbull who was a stray intake to the high-kill Downey animal shelter in LA County. She was assessed to be social and friendly with people and dogs. We will share more about her as we get to know her in foster care.  Shelter Notes: Meet Rita, a playful and energetic dog looking for her forever home! Rita has a vibrant personality and loves to engage with other dogs, though she can be a little forward in her approach. When she first met her kennel neighbors, she was eager to interact, barking and jumping to get their attention. After a quick use of a pet corrector, Rita was calm and relaxed, greeting her handler with a wagging tail and a friendly demeanor. On walks, she is confident, leading the way with a slight pull on the leash as she bypasses other dogs without issue. In play, Rita is a fun-loving and active companion. She loves to engage in chase and wrestling games, often taking the lead in initiating play and happily allowing other dogs to chase and tackle her. She's very tolerant, even when other dogs mouth her ears or legs during play. Rita enjoys taking breaks from her playful antics to solicit petting before diving back into the action. With a social, wiggly demeanor and an affectionate, push-pull play style, Rita would do best in a home with high-energy, large dog companions. She's a wonderful, spirited dog who's ready for adoption and is sure to bring joy to an active household! Foster Updates: Rita is very much a puppy - with all the puppy behaviors in a large body - but she has been a quick study learning manners like not mouthing and jumping up. She is very smart and eager to learn. Rita loves to snuggle and watch TV with you (yes she watches TV!) and her sweet face will just melt your heart. She LOVES toys, though she's a pitty so the stuffies don't last very long. She hasn't shown destructive tendencies aside from her toys, though. She prefers toys and affection to show or furniture chewing -- good girl! Rita has been doing well for down time in her crate and is happy to sleep there at night without a peep, except her adorable snoring. She has played well with some dogs in foster care but is too forward with others, so she will need the right match in a dog buddy; she would also thrive as the only dog. Rita will need a feline free home since she has shown some prey drive. This sweet affectionate girl will be a wonderful loving companion in a home that can provide structure, basic training, and of course snuggles! Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was rescued from the the high kill LA Downey animal shelter and transported via Wiggle Butts, arriving to Seattle area foster care 11/24/24. This dog will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.December 14, 2024, 5:26 pm
