Transport runs every 2 weeks. Please note! Don't just apply just because this dog has a cheap adopt fee. You must prove you can afford to adopt regardless! I find that most of the folks who apply for my reduced fee dogs back out when they realize they are still responsible for the transport fee. If this applies to you please don't waste our time! To the VA Beach area we can transport to your location for $200 or we can do halfway for $100. This will cover just my gas with today's high gas prices. You are welcome to drive to us in Mt.Airy, NC to pick up! Scarlett was born 2-1-21. Her mom was a german shepherd golden mix. We are not positive what dad was. Scarlett is active and very loving. She is good with people and ok with other dogs her size. She is too playful for small dogs. She needs a large dog only home. She is not good with cats. She needs an active home with room to run. She would not do well in a cramped up apartment with no exercise. She is house trained and crate trained, This baby will go home spayed and current on vaccinations, deworming, flea preventives, started on heartworm prevention and microchipped. This pup will receive a health certificate issued by our vet prior to going home. The adopter will get all his health records with the adoption. We require a prescreen application to apply. Tucker needs to go to a home without children. He is a sweet, lovable, cuddly, almost 2 year old pupper. He is an American bully / boxer mix, parents are both purebred. I have had him since he was about 10 weeks old. Tucker is very smart and obeys commands well. Unfortunately, he has begun resource guarding with certain bones and other things and becomes very possessive and aggressive if you get too close, try to take the object or take him away from it. Though I could work with my trainer to correct the issue and get him to obey me, he will never obey my kids if they were to give the same command and it’s too much of a risk to keep him in my home with my kids. He would do VERY well in a home without kids, and plays well with his big brother dog. We love him and want him to find a good home! Please consider this sweet boy.

Hello I'm Thor! I may have the name of a superhero but deep down I just want to be loved. Since I lost my family Ive had a tough time. I lost my home after my original family went through an unforeseen tragedy and I was left without food or water for a week. I was very depressed for a long time and lived in a kennel for a while. I’ve been in and out of a couple foster homes but I haven't found my forever home yet. I know the right one is out there! I have been moved around a few times so I get really anxious in new homes. I need someone who is patient and is willing to give me a chance. I have a big heart and lots of love to share. My favorite hobbies? I like rolling in the grass, riding in the car, walks, yup-walks and more walks along with snuggling. It is my favorite “downtime” thing to do. Oh and I love to keep watch out the window. If you are busy, I am happy just to be around and watch, or nap, while you do human things. I have had some obedience work while living with fosters. I’ve learned to be crated. I really don't like it but a tasty treat will get me inside and once I'm in its naptime. I walk like a gentleman on the leash, but I do get excited seeing other dogs. I can be a little stubborn at times but I do well with firm but gentle verbal correction. What am I looking for in a home? I would prefer to be an only dog, so I can have all the attention. I get along with a lot of other dogs but not every dog. I have instantly loved every human female I have ever met, but not all men. I do have some favorite men in my life though. I just need to go slow with new guys. Trust is really important to me. My biggest need is to have a the security of a home and humans that give me love and attention. Her Tinder Profile: Sweet, affectionate girl seeks loving home with lots of treats, walks and car rides. I'm an intelligent, friendly, goofy 5 yr old American Bulldog. I'm spayed and UTD on all my wellness and vaccinations. I do have hypothyroidism but it is easily managed with 2 inexpensive medications. I get along with most dogs. Cats are ok if the are aloof but no young children please (older teenagers are ok). I have had basic obedience and excel at that. My leash manners are impeccable and I love my walks. We can help keep each other healthy! My foster mom says I have big personality and need firm but gentle handling. I am a foodie though, and very treat motivated. I have to be honest and telI you I have had rare incidents of resource guarding. It has happened when I have been able to steel your stuff. It is not uncommon behavior in dogs and manageable with strategizing and behavior modification. I have lots of love and laughs to offer an experienced dog owner that is willing to give me a chance. Amill has been living in a foster home for a couple months and he has shown what an awesome dog he is. This boy is house trained, crate trained, has great house manners (other than barking at animals outside the window) and according to his foster mom, has been a pleasure to have in her home. He loves car rides and is super friendly with everyone he meets. He’s been great with the other dogs in the home and has shown no issues with toys and food with the other dogs or with the humans in the home. He is a velcro dog who is super affectionate. He is a pretty chill guy who doesn’t require much exercise, so he would be a great dog for a couch potato. He loves to cuddle on the couch with you while you watch tv. He does get bursts of energy where he runs around the house and he does like an occasional game of tug of war. Amill likes taking walks although he can be quite leash reactive when he sees other dogs, which is something his future family will need to be willing to work on. Other than his leash issues, he really is a perfect dog. Amill has the most beautiful brindle coat and the softest fur! Amill had several lumps removed recently that came back as mast cell tumors. After consulting with an oncologist, we were assured these were low grade tumors and they should cause no further issues. It it common for mct to reoccur, so his future family should be willing and financially able to deal with this if need be. Amill is an awesome boy and would make an excellent addition to almost any family.
