Story
Hi there, I'm Vega, a 6-year-old, 70 pound, brindle and white boxer. I'm looking for a forever home with someone who can keep up with me and love me unconditionally. I'm an extremely loving, smart and adventurous boy, who enjoys playing, running, and exploring. I'm also very smart and eager to please, especially if you have some treats for me. I'm neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, so I'm ready to go whenever you are. I have a ton of drive which makes me super fun to work with and my foster mom says I’d be amazing at dog sports of any kind because of how much I like to work. My foster mom can explain more but I need a firm owner who will work me and take me on adventures because I am no couch potato. I am dog selective needing slow intros to other dogs. I should not be around cats or other small animals because of my high prey drive. I do well with kids but best with older kids because of my size and energy. I can be crate reactive and have some barrier frustration, but I’ve been learning to improve my behavior here and am doing so much better. I also need more work on leash training, as I pull hard. Devices like gentle leaders may help me learn how to walk better on leash. I have a lot of love to give. I'm very passionate and loyal to anyone I bond with. I bond quickly and can’t wait to make friends with you! I love being petted and cuddled. I'm a relatively quiet pup, and I calm well when my exercise needs are met. I'm being fostered in Hampton Roads, VA but I can be transported out of state if you're the one for me. So, what do you say? Are you ready to meet your new best friend? I'm waiting for you. Fill out an application today and we will get the process started! *Must be 21 or older to apply.

Story
Hello! My name is Monty, and I'm a handsome mutt. We are not sure what my breed is, but we are thinking I may be a Boxer and Lab mix. I have striking black fur and white markings. At just over a year old, I weigh about 85 pounds. I have great playful energy, always ready for a game of fetch, tug or whatever else you may be up for. I am a food-driven pup which makes me easy to train. I know how to sit and lay down, and I'm working on wait and stay. I absolutely love car rides and adventures. During walks, I like to sit down and lean against my walking buddy for some loving, and I have a unique way of talking with a howling voice to my people. I'm also a big fan of cuddling on the couch when it’s time to relax. I'd be great with older children due to my size and energy, and I'm friendly with other dogs. However, I may need a big playmate who can handle my size and energy. While I have not had much exposure to other dogs while in foster care, we think I might resource guard food and toys from other dogs. I'm not good with cats or small animals, so a home without them would be best for me. I've had some challenges in the past, like spinning and attacking my tail, which caused a severe injury. But thanks to my rescue, I had my tail partially docked, and with regular exercise, I'm no longer focused on my tail. I would thrive in an active home and would make a great hiking partner or possibly an agility dog. I love to leap like a deer when running in the yard, and a half-hour of chasing a ball wears me out if we can't go for a walk. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for me, especially a taller one since I'm such a big boy. I have been neutered, vaccinated, and tested negative for heartworm. I'm house-trained and crate-trained, and I'm currently working on my leash manners. I'm currently being fostered in Greenville, NC, but I can be transported if we're a match! If you're looking for a loving, energetic, and loyal companion, please fill out an application to meet me. I can't wait to find my forever home!

Here’s a bio that could highlight Fudge’s wonderful qualities and make him even more irresistible to potential adopters: --- **Meet Fudge – The Cuddly, Playful Puppy Who's Ready to Find His Forever Home!** Say hello to Fudge, an adorable 5-month-old pup with the absolute cutest crooked ears we've ever seen. One is always forward, while the other is always back, giving him the most adorable look! Born in August 2024, Fudge is growing into a sweet, well-mannered boy who is sure to bring endless joy to the right family. He’s expected to weigh around 40 lbs when fully grown – the perfect medium-sized companion! Fudge is already crate-trained and making great progress with his house training. While he still needs a little supervision, he's a quick learner and is well on his way to being a perfect house guest. Fudge is all about the cuddles—he’s probably the most snuggly puppy you’ll ever meet, often curling up for long naps where he snores adorably like a grown man! But don't let his love for snuggle naps fool you; he’s also independent and enjoys chilling in the sunbeams and keeping himself entertained. This boy gets along beautifully with other dogs and is respectful of cats, making him an ideal companion in a multi-pet household. Fudge loves everyone he meets and will give a little bark to let you know someone new is at the door, but he’s friendly and social with all guests. Although he’s still a puppy and learning the ropes, Fudge is a smart cookie. He’s already doing fantastic with not mouthing, not chewing on inappropriate things, and doesn’t cause trouble around the house. He’s also great with car rides, baths, and nail trims – no fuss here! Fudge has no issues with food or toys, making him a low-maintenance and easygoing pup. Fudge is looking for a loving home where he’s not left alone all day and where his new family is ready to continue his training and give him the love and attention he deserves. He’s well on his way to becoming an amazing adult dog, and with a little guidance, he’ll thrive in a home that’s ready for his puppy energy and affection. Are you ready to welcome this sweet, cuddly boy into your family? Fudge can’t wait to meet you and share all the love he has to offer! --- Symbiotic Inc. has a required minimum $360 adoption donation upon the completion of the adoption (it is tax deductible!) Story
Herbie is a lovable 70-pound Boxer mix with a heart full of gold. About a year old, he was found wandering the back roads of Tennessee without a collar or microchip, battling a tough case of mange. While no one has come forward to claim him, Herbie is now looking for his forever family! His skin is healing beautifully, and his sweet, curious nature shines through more each day. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Herbie enjoys his daily walks and is getting better at leash manners. He’s also learning to curb his excitement when greeting people! He’s great with other dogs and, after playtime, is happy to sit quietly by your side. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but we think his gentle personality would be a great match for the right home! Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Herbie find loving homes.
