Whiskey was born July 15, 2023. He came into rescue at 8 weeks old when the owner couldn’t find him a home. His mother is boxer and father Black and Tan hound. (Pictures of parents attached.) He is a sweet playful pup that has done great with small and large dogs. He is crate trained and doing very well with his house training. He loves toys and sticks to chew on. Meet Bennett! Bennett is about 1-2 years old and weighs 45 lbs. We think he looks like a Boxer/Hound Mix (just a guess). Bennett is a total sweetheart! He loves to cuddle and is such an easy-going boy. Bennett favorite thing is people. He wants a human to be by his Although he is great with the dogs and cat in his foster home, he is also confident enough to be a happy only dog in the home. Bennett is fostered with young children and is very sweet to him but does enjoy stealing their snacks. Bennett is housetrained and crate trained. He will need a home with a fenced yard as he is discrete and doesn't like to do his "business" on a leash. A small, fenced yard would be fine for his potty breaks. Bennett is medium energy dog. He is walking nicely on a leash but does get excited to see squirrel friends. Bennett would do best in a home where someone is around a good portion of the day as this is what he has in his foster home. Bennett is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from Canine and Kitties Rescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $375.00, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check.
