Story
Introducing the beautiful Starlene, a boxer mix weighing around 50 lbs. Although she's currently a bit thin, she's steadily regaining weight after giving birth to six adorable puppies. Starlene's story begins when she was picked up as a stray with her one-day-old puppies. Despite her previous owner wanting only her and not the puppies, the shelter, faced with the option to euthanize the puppies, reached out to a rescue. The rescue, instead of euthanizing, took in both Starlene and her puppies. Today, Starlene is eagerly anticipating a new beginning and a brighter life. She is currently in a temporary foster home, nursing her babies for a few more weeks. After that, she'll undergo spaying (while a fundraiser is generated) before being ready for adoption. If you can offer a temporary foster or a permanent adoption for Starlene and be her companion until she finds her forever-loving family, she will be forever grateful. Despite her past neglect, Starlene is dog-friendly, very sociable, and loves people. This resilient cutie deserves a better life, and with your help, she can embark on a journey towards happiness and security.

Story
Our sweet Panini is around 2 years old. Panini was originally an owner surrender due to her owner no longer being able to care for her properly. She had not had an easy upbringing and lived most of her young life on a tether. Panini thought she had found her forever home a few months later but the owner was facing declining health and was no longer financially able to keep her. So back to the shelter she came. Panini is one that will need to spend time with a potential new family possible multiple meet and greets to make sure everyone is a perfect fit! She is unsure of new people and situations and warms up slowly Panini is a fabulous walking partner and enjoys cuddling and being with people once she feels comfortable with them. She may be best as an only dog as she has never lived with other dogs and is a bit of a bossy lady! Panini would love a queit home with a fenced back yard that she can run and play in! She keeps her kennel nice and clean so we believe she is housebroken but remember changes mean she needs patience to learn the household routine! Panini has been spayed, microchipped and we brought her current on all Vaccines including rabies. She has been given a dewormer, started on flea/tick prevention, heartworm tested (NEGATIVE) and given heartworm prevention. Story
Meet Indi a shy but very sweet 2 year old Pit Bull/Siberian Husky mix who was surrendered along with her sister Tivi. Indi has lived most of her adult life as an outside kennel dog so she will need a patient and loving family that will give her guidance and boundaries as she settles into being a spoiled house dog! Indi is a friendly and affectionate dog with lots of love to give! She is an adult dog with lots of energy and is very playful, smart, and brave. She is curious about the world around her and loves to explore new places and smells. She is also independent and enjoys some alone time, but is shy around new people and in new situations, so will need some extra love and patience to help her come out of her shell. Indi was said to be a bit bossy with her sister so we will need to make sure she meets any and all dogs she will be living with. Indi CAN NOT go to a home that has cats or chickens as she is not good with them! Indi has been spayed, has been brought up to date on her vaccines. Microchipped, Heartworm tested, Flea/Tick prevention started, she has been microchipped.
