Hi there, I'm Vega, a 6-year-old, 70 pound, brindle and white boxer. I'm looking for a forever home with someone who can keep up with me and love me unconditionally. I'm an extremely loving, smart and adventurous boy, who enjoys playing, running, and exploring. I'm also very smart and eager to please, especially if you have some treats for me. I'm neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, so I'm ready to go whenever you are. I have a ton of drive which makes me super fun to work with and my foster mom says I’d be amazing at dog sports of any kind because of how much I like to work. My foster mom can explain more but I need a firm owner who will work me and take me on adventures because I am no couch potato. I am dog selective needing slow intros to other dogs. I should not be around cats or other small animals because of my high prey drive. I do well with kids but best with older kids because of my size and energy. I can be crate reactive and have some barrier frustration, but I’ve been learning to improve my behavior here and am doing so much better. I also need more work on leash training, as I pull hard. Devices like gentle leaders may help me learn how to walk better on leash. I have a lot of love to give. I'm very passionate and loyal to anyone I bond with. I bond quickly and can’t wait to make friends with you! I love being petted and cuddled. I'm a relatively quiet pup, and I calm well when my exercise needs are met. Hi, I’m Sophia, a 4-year-old Boxer mix with a gorgeous tan coat and a sweet personality. I was rescued from Lee County Animal Shelter and am now in boarding waiting for a family of my own. I’m crate and house trained and great with people. I am absolutely FANTASTIC with kids. If I get the zoomies I won’t run into you so I can even be around little kids. Overall, I am very well-mannered. I just want to follow you around the yard. I’m super loving and enjoy giving kisses and cuddles. I will even gently push into you for some loving. I am treat-motivated and take them gently. I also take direction very well. While I enjoy playing, I also calm well when it’s time to relax and just settle in. I like to go on car rides and relax with my humans. I would do best in a home with a fenced yard where I can play. I like to investigate the yard on my own but will check in with my humans from time to time. I also like it when you tell me to go get my ball or a stick. I won’t bring it back to you, but I like if you pretend you are going to get it from me and give chase. I am a beautiful dog made of pure muscle. I am super strong and tend to pull on leash when I am excited but will calm after a moment and with training direction. I am very eager to please but would do best as an only dog with no other dogs or cats in the home. I’m spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.
