Story
Meet Faye and Boomer! If you are looking for two peas in a pod, then look no further! These two were an owner surrender at no fault of their own. Their previous owner loved them so much but due to unexpected circumstances they came here. Boomer was also adopted through our shelter back in 2021 when he was around 3 years old which makes him to be around 6 years old. He is a boxer mix who is already neutered. These guys have been together for 3ish years, and we would hate to have to seperate them. They both are super sweet Faye in more open than Boomer, but he does open up once he gets comfortable. Boomer will look for Faye once they do seperate and it just breaks our hearts. They both are really great dogs that hope they can find a home together. If interested in Faye and Boomer, the shelter is open Monday-Friday from 10am-3pm staff pending or you can call the shelter at 804-520-9397 ext. 5 and set up an appointment!

Story
Herbie is a lovable 70-pound Boxer mix with a heart full of gold. About a year old, he was found wandering the back roads of Tennessee without a collar or microchip, battling a tough case of mange. While no one has come forward to claim him, Herbie is now looking for his forever family! His skin is healing beautifully, and his sweet, curious nature shines through more each day. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Herbie enjoys his daily walks and is getting better at leash manners. He’s also learning to curb his excitement when greeting people! He’s great with other dogs and, after playtime, is happy to sit quietly by your side. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but we think his gentle personality would be a great match for the right home! Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Herbie find loving homes. For more info on our mission, adoption fees, and drop-off points, visit us at CritterCavalry.com! &#226&#156&#168 Could your family be the one Herbie's been waiting for? &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com to request an adoption application.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 11, 2024, 7:28 pm

Meet Snow! &#226&#157&#132&#239&#184&#143 Snow has been waiting over a year to find her perfect home, which is hard to believe because she’s an absolute gem! This five-year-old, 50-pound sweetheart will melt your heart with her warmth, love, and affection. Snow adores people and thrives on companionship. She’s calm and cuddly most of the time, with bursts of playful energy when the mood strikes. While she’s a total lovebug, she can be a little cautious around some men, needing a moment to feel comfortable. Snow currently shares her foster home with two other dogs—an 80-pound male and a 23-pound female. She gets along well with other playful dogs and has even befriended a 100-pound male Lab after a little time to adjust. She’s confident, a bit sassy, and isn’t afraid to let her diva side shine when she knows what she wants! Snow would thrive in a home with a six-foot privacy fence where she can safely enjoy some outdoor time. If you’re looking for a devoted cuddle buddy who will bring joy and warmth into your life, Snow might just be the perfect match. Who’s ready to give Snow the loving forever home she deserves? Here's Lady, a full-throttle bundle of joy who thinks life is one big game of fetch. Got a ball or stick? She's ready to chase anything at any time. Lady is a young, athletic dog with lots of energy and would do best in a home with a fenced yard where she can run to her heart’s content chasing butterflies and squirrels! She knows her commands but is still working on doggie manners. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate, and totally lovable companion who will bring joy, excitement, and lots of tail wags to your life, Lady's your girl! Meet Diablo! This handsome hunk was found as a stray and never claimed. Upon his arrival he hated it here! Very skittish and standoffish but now his personality has really started to shine! He is a nervous boy in his kennel but once he is out, he wide open. He is one that may require more then one meet and greet as it does sometimes take him a bit to fully open and show his full personality. He has done well with dogs he has met here( he really loves the ladies) but meet and greets are required if other dogs are in the home. His favorite things in the world are butt scratchys , treats and more butt scratchys. He is very treat motivated, he knows sit and paw that we have found out so far. When he gets super excited, he just prances around, and hops and it is adorable! He is estimated to be around 2 years old.
