Story
Say hello to Bella, the charming and spirited pup who’s ready to steal your heart! Bella is all about playtime, especially with her fellow rescue pals—she could spend hours frolicking in the yard! While it may take her a little time to warm up, once Bella trusts you, she’ll shower you with endless affection and loyalty. Bella thrives on slow introductions with well-balanced dogs, making her an ideal companion for other furry friends that match her energy. She’s crate-trained and settles in easily, though her playful nature means doggy beds don’t stand a chance—they quickly become her favorite toys! Highly motivated by treats, Bella is eager to learn and responds well to training. She walks well on a leash but can get easily distracted, so a gentle leader might help her focus during outings. Though Bella prefers the comforts of home, she’ll need a little encouragement to embrace the joys of a walk. She can feel anxious around other dogs on her adventures, sometimes expressing her excitement a bit loudly. But remember, every rescue has their quirks, and Bella’s incredible qualities far outweigh any challenges! Bella is ready to find her forever home with a family that understands and loves her just as she is. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who will fill your days with joy, Bella is the perfect match! To add Bella to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2149754##

Story
Bowser is an intact 5 year old boxer who loves to be around family. He was given to us by a family friend as an adult. He is a sweet dog that would prefer to be an only dog. He does not get along with other male dogs but has enjoyed play time with female dogs at the dog park. He is house broken, eats on command, sits and walks well on a leash. He chases little critters (squirrels/rabbits/etc.) A home with small pets should not let Bowser around them as he likes to hunt rodents. Although Bowser is a senior, he loves going on hikes/walks and the such. He enjoys traveling by car and has traveled 3 states so far! Bowser has a calm personality and is young at heart. He would do really well with someone who is experienced with boxers.

Story
Hi there, future best friend! I'm Belle, a stunning 3.5-year-old female Boxer mix with a heart full of love. I’m an affectionate girl who adores cuddling, playing with toys, and spending quality time with my humans. I’m fully house- and crate-trained, so I’m ready to fit right into my forever home.I’m a fan of fetch, going on walks, and exploring fun adventures with my people. While I can be a little shy when meeting new friends, I’m working on building my confidence and know my new family will help me feel safe and secure in new situations. I dream of a home where I can be the center of attention—I’d love an adult-only family where I can be the one-and-only furry companion. A securely fenced yard would be a dream come true because I love to explore and satisfy my curious nature. I met with a wonderful trainer who helped me learn new skills, and they say I’m incredibly smart and eager to please! I already know several commands and am thriving with positive-reinforcement training. I’ve even started muzzle training to help me stay calm and focused when things feel a little overwhelming—I'm working hard to be the best version of myself.I have so much love to give and can’t wait to find a family that will help me shine. With your support, I know I’ll make the sweetest, most loyal companion. Let’s start this amazing journey together—adopt me, and let’s make memories that last a lifetime!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Belle's adoption fee is $200. Bruno is very playful, loves to play fetch. Eats Purina dog chow. Free feeds throughout the day. Has been losing weight and has a few skin tags in his back. Bruno is kenneled trained inside and outside. He loves playing outside but he will try to dig under the fence if there is another dog on the other side of the fence and if he’s not supervised. Bruno knows commands such as sit, shake, lay down. Do to personal reasons we are unable to keep him.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Yo!! Let me introduce myself. My name is Bronx D'Puppy and I'm thought to be a boxer/lab mix. In rescue tho, that's not 100% guaranteed. I am 10 months old and am a growing boy. I love to play, play and play some more. I love all my foster brothers and sisters and we have a great time playing all day. I love my toys and I especially love my tennis ball. I am working on potty training and will need continued assistance for my success. I know how to use a doggy door and so far I get along with the cats I've met.  I will likely be a big boy when I'm full grown. Not a sure bet but likely around 50 - 60 lbs.  I will need someone with patience and understanding  committed to training to help me become the best dog I can be. In return, you will have my loyalty, the best snuggles and all my love! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Hollyhocks: Your Future Adventure Buddy!  Name: Hollyhocks  Breed: Boxer Mix  Age: 3 1/2 years old DOB 5/21/2021  Weight: 70 lbs Hello, future family! My name is Hollyhocks, and I’m a spirited and loving Boxer mix looking for my forever home. If you love the outdoors, hiking, and camping, I’m the perfect companion for you! I thrive in an active environment where I can run and play to my heart’s content. I have excellent house manners and have undergone training, so I know all my basic commands. My foster mom says I’m such a good girl that I don’t even need a crate! I use a dog door and never have accidents in the house. I adore being close to my people and love giving hugs. Despite my size, I think I’m a lap dog and enjoy snuggling up with you. My big tongue is perfect for giving you lots of face washes! I do get a bit anxious and can bark loudly, but with a calm and patient home, I know I can feel secure and happy. I need slow introductions to new people, but once I get to know them, I’m a sweetheart. I haven’t been around cats much, but I do like to chase the neighborhood ones. I used to live with children and did well with them, but I would do best in a home with older kids and less commotion. I need a fenced yard and plenty of space to run. If you’re home often and can make me feel comfortable, I promise to be the best girl for you. I’m learning that I don’t have to be on alert all the time and can just enjoy being a dog. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and active companion, I’m your girl! Let’s make some amazing memories together.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 4:51 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello! Hi! Hey there! I’m so glad to see you! My name is Brús and I’m a really happy boy boxer/lab mix. I really like to play with you, or cuddle, or play with the cat, or cuddle, or even play outside alone.   I’m about 3 years old and have lots of lab energy! Sometimes that means that I jump up on new people, and sometimes that means I get a little excited on my walks. I like to play tug and to play with a tennis ball. My foster human keeps asking me to give her the ball, and I don’t know why. It’s my ball!    But I also have lots of boxer energy that looks like cuddles and silly sleeping poses. I like to sleep in a cozy, fluffy bed, but I also like to sleep on a rug or a couch or your bed, if you let me. My foster human says I have a cute snore, but I don’t know how she can hear me snore when I am snuggled right up against her.   I love to play with dogs, though sometimes they don’t like how much energy I have, and the cat I used to live with was not a fan of my playful energy. He was ok if I just cuddled him though.   Oh, did I mention I like kids? I am big, around 70 pounds, so I actually prefer the big kids and adults, but I like when the little ones pet me and give me treats, too. I just sometimes accidentally knock them over so I try not to play around them too much.   My foster human says I’m doing great in my sit, stay, lay training, though sometimes I’m so excited that I did a good job that I jump up too soon. I also need to work on my leash skills, so some refresher classes would be a fun thing for us to do together. My foster human thinks I’d be a great hiking buddy because I love to play outside and I have great ‘recall’, whatever that means. I am also house trained, and I’m ok if you want me to be in my kennel, too. I like my kennel and it helps me calm down sometimes.   Overall my foster human says I’m a great boy and would be a great addition to any family who wants a cuddly, playful teenager.   If you think I could be the boy for you, apply to meet me today at  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 7, 2024, 8:02 pm

Meet Boone!Observed by shelter staff:Boone is a 6 year old intact male mix breed dog. He is medium in size but someitmes thinks he is the size of a lap dog. Boone appears to enjoy meeting new human friends, but seems to be scared of the dogs and cats here. He came in with pretty itchy skin. He did a round of anti biotics, medicated baths, and is on sensitive skin and stomach food. These seem to be helping him improve! Boone loves to play with tennis balls and is hoping Santa brings him a family who will buy him lots of them! $25 to adopt weighs 45 pounds
