Story
Say hello to Bella, the charming and spirited pup who’s ready to steal your heart! Bella is all about playtime, especially with her fellow rescue pals—she could spend hours frolicking in the yard! While it may take her a little time to warm up, once Bella trusts you, she’ll shower you with endless affection and loyalty. Bella thrives on slow introductions with well-balanced dogs, making her an ideal companion for other furry friends that match her energy. She’s crate-trained and settles in easily, though her playful nature means doggy beds don’t stand a chance—they quickly become her favorite toys! Highly motivated by treats, Bella is eager to learn and responds well to training. She walks well on a leash but can get easily distracted, so a gentle leader might help her focus during outings. Though Bella prefers the comforts of home, she’ll need a little encouragement to embrace the joys of a walk. She can feel anxious around other dogs on her adventures, sometimes expressing her excitement a bit loudly. But remember, every rescue has their quirks, and Bella’s incredible qualities far outweigh any challenges! Bella is ready to find her forever home with a family that understands and loves her just as she is. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who will fill your days with joy, Bella is the perfect match! To add Bella to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2149754##

Story
The Best 8-Year-Old “Puppy” Around! Looking for a dog who’s got just the right mix of wisdom and zoomies? Meet Gunner! At 8 years old, he’s got life figured out—except for why squirrels won’t be his friends. Why He’s Awesome: Knows important commands like “sit” and “go lie down” (though he sometimes pretends not to hear after “no more treats”). Crate trained—his “man cave” is his happy place. Leash trained, but if another dog walks by… let’s just say he gets very enthusiastic about making new friends. Neutered and fully vaccinated—basically, a low-maintenance best friend. He’s sweet, playful, and great with people of all ages. If you’re looking for a dog that’s past the puppy chaos but still ready for adventures (or couch naps), Gunner is your guy!  We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest & East Coast allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our application review takes about 10 days.  This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for the Pacific Northwest & East Coast. We will book your baby as soon as adoption & transport fees have been received.  If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then go to https://www.petstablished.com/organization/920716    ##2351783##

Story
Meet Gracie – A True Survivor with a Heart of GoldGracie is the most remarkable dog. Found as a stray in early January, she arrived at a local shelter severely underweight at just 28 pounds, suffering from infected skin, ears, and nose, along with a significant head wound. Her recovery has been slow and steady due to the extent of her condition, but this resilient girl is making consistent progress and regaining her health and strength. Now up to a healthy 52 pounds, Gracie is a one-year-old boxer mix full of love and personality. With her sweet, bouncy spirit, she charms everyone she meets—dogs, cats, and humans alike. Though she still has some puppy energy, Gracie is generally a mellow, affectionate girl who simply wants to play and cuddle. She would thrive in a home with another friendly, easygoing pup to share her days with.Gracie is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows how to play with her designated toys and ignore non-dog objects. She walks beautifully on a leash and especially enjoys hikes and neighborhood strolls. When she’s excited, she literally jumps for joy!A true cuddlebug, Gracie loves to snuggle with her foster parents and fellow animal siblings, she gets along well with both male and female dogs, and simply prefers calmer companions who match her gentle vibe. She’s wonderfully respectful with cats—more interested in being near them than chasing them—and although she hasn’t lived with children, she has done well around them in her time with her foster family. She would make a great therapy dog.Kindly note: Gracie is still physically healing from past neglect and requires biweekly medicated baths to soothe her skin as it continues to recover. Luckily, she’s great at bath time and hops into the tub when she hears the word “tub.” She’s also on a special diet and supplements to support her healing.Gracie is ready for the next chapter of her life—a loving forever home where she can continue to heal, grow, and be surrounded by the companionship she so deeply deserves.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. Story
Meet Potatoe!Potatoe is a 5-month-old Boxer/Herding mix with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. He’s looking for his forever home where he can share his endless love and energy!Potatoe came into rescue as a medical case. At just 6 weeks old, he was attacked by another dog, resulting in a skull fracture in three places. Thanks to excellent veterinary care and a loving foster home, Potatoe has healed beautifully. While we can’t be certain how his early injuries might affect him long-term, he’s currently thriving with no noticeable issues.Affectionately nicknamed “the rabbit” by his foster family, Potatoe is known for his joyful hops and mid-air leaps when he’s excited. He loves playing with toys, chewing on bones, and romping around with the other dogs in his foster home. He’s also incredibly sweet, gentle, and already house and crate trained! As a young pup, Potatoe is still learning. He’s making great progress with leash walking and basic commands, and he’ll need a family committed to continuing his training and helping him grow into a confident adult dog.Potatoe is truly a special pup who will bring joy, love, and laughter to the lucky family that adopts him.Dogs are not placed on a first-come first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal, applications may take up to 48 hours to complete. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Potatoe's adoption fee is $300. Story
Hi, I'm Lilly-a 7-year-old boxer with a heart full of love and a gentle soul to match. I may have a few years under my collar, but that just means I come with great manners and a calm, affectionate nature. I'm always happy to spend time with my people, whether it's going for a stroll, lounging by your side, or showing off how well I can sit (seriously, I've got that one down pat!). I'm super in tune with people-I understand gestures, follow a pointed finger, and love connecting with those around me. If you're looking for a loyal, sweet, and steady companion, I'd love to be your girl. Let's grow old together, one tail wag at a time.*Qualifies for Pets for Patriots program*Qualifies for Senior to Senior programPlease email Adoptions@saltlakecounty.gov with questions Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 43 Age: 7yrs 0mths 1wks
