Story
Puppy dog eyes overload! Max knows just how to melt your heart with his eyes. All love and sweetness from this boy. He is happy, well behaved and so smart. He loves to be outside and romp around then come inside and relax on his bed. He is very friendly and also a little shy at the same time. He prefers to just stay home and chill vs going out on car rides and adventures. He says leave me at home but don't be gone long because I'm just patiently waiting for you to come home. So...he's not one to go run and jump in the car when the door opens. House trained, dog friendly and lives with cats. His owner was admitted to assisted living and sweet Max was too big to make the move and thus found himself looking for new home that will love him for all the love he has to give! All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, micochipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Hello, I'm Bella. I love people-watching, their every move fascinates me. I have this habit of gazing, don't mistake it for staring. I'm just curious about you, your life, and the love you might share with me. I must confess, I'm not a fan of cats. They're just not my cup of tea. But don't worry, I have plenty of love to give to my future human family. I dream of a home where I can be your loyal companion. Choose me, and I promise to fill your life with unconditional love and loyalty. Please call 972-524-4709 with any other questions or if you would like more information. Our adoption fee for our animals includes: All vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter, deworming, and tick/flea treatment

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
I’m making this post on behalf of my father, who no longer wants Astro. My father adopted Astro 2-3 years ago, seeking companionship. However, he did not do his research on boxers and their energy levels. He was expecting a very laidback dog, and is not willing to meet Astro’s needs. Instead of catering to Astro (taking him on walks, playing with him, etc), he keeps Astro in his kennel all day every day, and doesn’t let him roam the house anymore. At this point, I don’t even think Astro is “high energy.” I think he’s just stir crazy from being pent up in his kennel all of the time. Also, my father does not know how to potty train him and isn’t attentive enough to let him outside to use the bathroom when he needs to go. As a result, Astro ends up defacating and urinating in his cage often. PLEASE help me find this sweet boy a more suitable and loving home. All of the shelters nearby are full.

Story
Merlin is a four year old pup.  Happy, full of life and personlity, he would make a great family dog or "only child".  Want someone to ride shotgun while you head out of town or around town running errands?  He's your boy!  Want to have him greet your friends for that backyard BBQ, he's your boy!   Lounging on the couch watching football - he'll support your team choice (and your choice of snacks!). Best of all, he's house trained, crate trained, happy and gloriously well adjusted.  Just what we love!!  RHS adopts within 60 miles of Richardson, TX.
