Story
Justice is a resilient and affectionate dog who has overcome a difficult past with grace and resilience. At 34 pounds, she may not be the largest pup around, but her heart is certainly big. Her brindle coat adds to her unique charm, making her stand out in a crowd. With her high energy levels, Justice is always up for an adventure and loves to keep busy. She's currently working on her social skills with other dogs, showing progress in her willingness to play, although she can still be a bit protective of her toys and food. This behavior is understandable given her past experiences, but with patience and guidance, she's learning to share and enjoy the company of her furry friends. Despite enduring a traumatic incident involving animal cruelty, Justice's spirit remains unbroken. Rescued by animal control in Shreveport, LA, she suffered from a deeply embedded rope around her neck, necessitating extensive medical attention. Thanks to the care she received, including the removal of the rope and 200 staples and stitches to heal her wounds, Justice has bounced back with resilience and a zest for life. Justice's affectionate nature extends to people of all ages, making her a wonderful companion for families with children. Her gentle demeanor and loving personality make her a joy to be around, and she thrives on the love and attention she receives from her human companions. Despite her rough start, Justice's story is one of triumph and resilience. With her happy disposition and loving nature, she's ready to embark on a new chapter of her life, filled with love, care, and endless adventures with her forever family. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion who will fill your life with joy, Justice might just be the perfect match for you.       ##1997031##

I am fostering Luna as of approximately a year ago from a family that had rescued her from the side of the road. She is a wonderful dog—affectionate and caring, though she can be timid at times. Luna has a love for the outdoors and enjoys cuddling and receiving attention. While she prefers being the only dog, she is capable of getting along with other dogs.

Story
Bucko the Boxer mix is just a gentle soul looking for a place to call his own where he will be cherished and loved for the best friend that he is. He is a real ladies man but loves attention from anyone who will give him a butt scratch. Bucko has earned a spot as an official member of our Welcome Wagon since is so dog neutral and has a very calm demeanor. Great on a leash, current on shots, great with other dogs, crate trained, perfect gentlemen in the house, interested in cats but easily redirected. This boy is the total package. Bucko’s Story: Bucko is baaaack! Bucko got his freedom ride on 1/21/2025. We first met Bucko in August 2024 when caring citizens reported an injured dog. We took Bucko to the vet to have him fixed up but unfortunately the owner would not surrender him to our care. Fast forward to today when another caring citizen called animal control to pick up a dog that was chained up behind an abandoned house. His microchip led him straight to us.

Story
From her foster: She is amazing. I don’t know how someone dumped her, we’ve had many dogs and she is EASILY the most well behaved and kind pup. Sooo lovey and loves any form of cuddles. She hasn’t had any training, but she is house trained, and enjoys the safety of her kennel. She doesn’t chew on anything and she only barks or gets loud when she plays with the other dogs, but even then she’s quieter than ours now. Ginger’s love language is physical touch.
