Story
Meet Fleming! She is such a good girly! She loves everyone and we love her. Fleming is very playful and high energy. She would love a dog sibling who is super playful as well. She is REALLY into her people and wants to be wherever you are. Fleming loves all humans but also has a very impressive vertical she likes to show off spontaneously so maybe best to not have teeny tiny humans in the home. Probably good to note that Fleming is just under a year old so still a bit of a baby herself. Fleming's safe place is her kennel. She sleeps there at night and hangs there whenever we leave the house. She also loves to run and play outside. She is an expert rabbit watcher/ chaser. Literally the happiest dog l've ever met! We are looking for a family or individual who loves her as much as we do. Fleming is a unique mix of German Shepherd, Belgian Malinois, Chihuahua, and Cattle Dog, making her a stunning and one-of-a-kind pup. She embodies the best traits of each breed, resulting in a remarkable and versatile companion. Fleming is also potty trained, which means no more accidents inside the house. One of Fleming's greatest qualities is her ability to get along with other dogs. She is great at socializing and enjoys the company of her furry friends. Whether it's playtime at the park or a doggy playdate, Fleming is always up for some fun and games. Smile, because Fleming is waiting to become a part of your family. Start the adoption process today and embark on a journey filled with love, joy, and endless snuggles. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Puppy dog eyes overload! Max knows just how to melt your heart with his eyes. All love and sweetness from this boy. He is happy, well behaved and so smart. He loves to be outside and romp around then come inside and relax on his bed. He is very friendly and also a little shy at the same time. He prefers to just stay home and chill vs going out on car rides and adventures. He says leave me at home but don't be gone long because I'm just patiently waiting for you to come home. So...he's not one to go run and jump in the car when the door opens. House trained, dog friendly and lives with cats. His owner was admitted to assisted living and sweet Max was too big to make the move and thus found himself looking for new home that will love him for all the love he has to give! All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, micochipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Meet Bently, a one 1/2-year-old boxer mix that we need to find a new home for. He is SO bright, potty trained, command trained, and very loving! He knows commands for Sit, Lay-down, Treats, Fetch, and Potty commands. He will let you know when he needs to go outside by getting your attention and leading you to the door. He is fun-loving and super sweet! He is kennel trained and, at times, will opt to sit in his kennel and chew on his bone with the door open. He has a lot of energy and needs to have the ability to run and play a lot! He loves attention, and he'll follow you everywhere! He is a big snuggler and loves to sit next to you or in your lap!! He is the best doggy and the rehoming is ONLY because it has become overwhelming hard to give him the attention and time he needs with work and two older dogs, one being newly blind and very skittish. He is very playful with the other dogs; they are just old and don't like his energy level. When he is excited, he's a ball of energy!

Story
Franky is an adorable sweet brindle boy, 1 1/2 year old and 64 pounds. He is all boy- rough and tumble and just happy all the time. Franky will be thrilled to have another playful dog in his forever home. A yard and active owner is ideal. Older kiddos are fine, too!   He is house, leash and crate trained.   To meet Cowboy Franky in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.  Must be home more than not. Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.  Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household. Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting. Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet. All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard.  DSDA is located in Dallas and requires a home visit on every adoption so only adopt to Dallas and surrounding areas.   ##1995570##

Story
Max has never had a belly rub he didn’t like!   He also enjoys lounging in the sun, gently playing with his stuffies, and daily walks (but isn’t interested in being anyone’s running buddy- we feel  ya Max!)   Car rides are his favorite- especially when he gets to ride shotgun!  Max has a silly personality that really shines once you get to know him!  While Max takes correction well, he’ll require an adopter who will let him know he’s not the boss.  Give him an inch, and he’ll take a foot ( can you blame him though?!) Max is extremely food motivated and will never turned down a meal or treat.  He will even dance for his dinner! He  is currently being fostered by a family  with two female resident dogs, a cat (who he loves and secretly has a crush on), and two older kiddos (8 and 12 years old).  Since tiny humans can be super unpredictable, we recommend older kids for  Max. A meet-and -greet is required if you already have pups – Max loves all the attention! He is house-trained, crate-trained, neutered,  microchipped, current on  his vaccinations, 4-5 years old, and  weighs 65 lbs. Email info@rockwallpets.com to meet this big ole goofball!   November 4, 2024, 9:40 pm

Story
Hi! Let me introduce you to Dallas aka Good Boooooooy which is what he comes to! We found this handsome man on a Facebook post requesting an urgent need for a foster. He was abandoned living in the woods covered in ticks and scratches. He must have had a pretty rough life and has some scars to prove it. He has been in our care for about 2 month and is doing amazing! He lives with two female dogs and a 10 yr old child (dog/kiddo friendly/cats unknown). He does like to chase rabbits and squirrels and can get pretty strong on the leash when he sees them. Good boy enjoys walks, laying in the sun, taking naps on the couch and wrestling with our heeler. We are searching for his forever family. I think he will thrive in a home with older kids and will do well with other pets. This pup has shown nothing but love every person he encounters. Please consider giving Dallas his happily ever after with you!
