Story
Ruger was rehomed as a puppy to our family after being adopted by a friends son who was heading to college and could no longer take care of him. We recently moved with him from Texas to Florida and have a much smaller yard. With him being so active, he needs a home with plenty of space to run and chase birds. He loves tug of war and playing chase. Currently Ruger will be 4 in February. He does great with other animals once acclimated.

Story
Athena was adopted in October of 2015 when I was in college. She has made it through many moves and life changes. She is now a sweet old lady who just wants to live out the rest of her days in the comfort of a loving home. She has been well cared for, well loved and cherished. She would need to be the only pet in the home but does amazingly with people. She has been around kids before and does well with them. My parents have been keeping her for the past year and can no longer do it. I would take her back but my husband is severely allergic. She is very smart and well house trained.

Story
Georgie is a playful, happy young boy who especially loves being in his foster's backyard. He really loves yard time with his foster dog siblings. He also loves a good romp in the hose during watering time, it is so adorable! Indoors, Georgie becomes more of a chill boy. He loves giving kisses and hugs to his humans and playing with his stuffed animal toys. Then he's happy to lounge on the couch or in his bed with other dogs and takes naps in his cozy spot. Georgie walks well on a leash and has attended obedience training with foster mom. Adopting him, you get a pre-trained, extra smaty pants pup. He also enjoys car rides. Georgie will love pet parents who are home more than away. He will need someone to have patience and help get adjusted to long periods away from his people. Come meet this sweet, handsome boy today and let him show off all of his smarts

Story
Monty is the sweetest, most affectionate companion you could ask for! With his serious face and squishy "meatball" charm, Monty is all about love and loyalty. He’ll greet you with enthusiastic tail wags, kisses, and playful jumps whenever you come home—his way of saying, "You’re my favorite person!" This senior gentleman is fully house-trained, quiet, low-key, and well-behaved at home. Monty has the run of the house when you’re out and prefers snoozing on your bed or lounging on the couch until you return. Monty’s mellow personality makes him the ultimate couch potato, but he’s always up for a walk, which he enjoys with excellent leash manners. He’s also a great car companion, calmly riding along for adventures. Monty is incredibly smart and has a unique way of communicating his needs—he’ll nudge your knee with his nose and give you a meaningful look to let you know when it’s time for food, treats, or a potty break. His favorite toy is a big stuffed log with squirrels tucked inside, though he’ll occasionally grab a tennis ball for a quick round of play before returning to his favorite activity: snuggling by your side. While Monty is a little cautious around new people, he’s deeply loving and loyal once he trusts you. He’s happiest in a calm, quiet home where he can be your shadow, following you from room to room or cuddling up close at bedtime. If you’re looking for a smart, protective, and incredibly loving senior dog who will adore you unconditionally, Monty might just be your perfect match. Inquire about adopting him today. Story
Marsala is a party girl looking for her forever home! Nothing makes this gal happier than pleasing her people and playing a rousing round of fetch. "Marsala loves playing outside, especially rolling around on the grass when she's tired!" said an APA volunteer. Marsala loves being outside and getting her exercise, but is just as happy to be inside being a couch potato. This good girl is a TOP Dog trainee, which means she's working on 10 real-world skills to be a better canine citizen! She is a big puppy who loves to run around, but she also does well when left alone in her crate for some rest and relaxation. Check out Marsala's videos and come meet this snuggly girl today!

Story
Say hello to the cutest girl south of the river (her foster mom is not biased at all)! After being rescued from a West Texas shelter, this perfect pocket-sized girl made her way to Austin. Delphina is a lover of all people, absolutely lighting up when people say hi to her on walks and give her love. She is a friendly, curious, goofy girl who loves snuggling, butt scratches, chomping on bones, going on car rides, tearing the squeakers out of her toys, or just snoozing on the couch. She's medium energy, making her the perfect companion to shower you with love without being overly demanding. Delphina is also a rockstar in the home, able to be left alone without issue while her foster mom goes to work, but always happy to greet her with the full body wiggles and adorable pittie smile when she returns. She is known as the resident party girl amongst all her foster moms' friends, as she absolutely loves when visitors come over and shines while getting attention, without being too over the top. Follow Delphina's adventures on Instagram @Delphina_thefosterpup and consider welcoming this sweet girl into your home.
