He has turned out to be THE best boy and is loved by everyone that meets him! He is an intelligent dog who is good with other dogs and is loyal to those around him. This handsome boy has been fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and tested Negative for heartworms!! He was about 62 pounds when rescued from the streets, and he is still thin. We believe he is approximately 2 years old, maybe less. He sometimes still urinates like a puppy and he's so curious about Everything... sneaks up on anything unfamiliar. It's so cute to watch! Gus is house-trained and he knows 'sit.' He takes treats very gently from your hand and will give you big kisses in return. He's playful, but will chill with you on the couch, too ! He is good with other dogs and children. He's an all-around great dog and has many years ahead to fill your life with love and fun! Darlin came to the county shelter after being found injured by another dog. She had lived on a chain her entire life and was vulnerable to other dogs in the neighborhood. Kerrville Pets Alive provided the medical care necessary to treat her injuries, and she is one beautiful girl now! Darlin is high energy, and now that she has freedom, she is sowing her oats... She is presently at a training boarding facility, being taught just how nice humans and other dogs can be! She loves people and wants to be a lap dog when not running and chasing... She has lived with cats before, but has not harmed them, she was just curious. She has been spayed and is fully vaccinated and on heartworm preventative. She is a work in progress and we're very proud of her overcoming her past traumas! Darlin should go to an active family, with a fence and experienced in the pit bull terrier breed.
