Story
Nick has the most adorable mask - isn't he the cutest???? We think he looks like a Pointer/Boxer mix, but that's just our best guess. Nick loves to play outside, gets along with other dogs, but he may be too playful for older, more laid-back dogs. When it comes to his people, he has a sweet, snuggly disposition. NIck should be fine with kids over the age of 6. He's just a great all around pup! If you're interested in meeting Nick please fill out an application at www.humanetomorrow.org.

Story
Some dogs can never catch a break. Willie was saved from a local shelter’s eu list about a month ago. Unfortunately his adopter recently suffered a major health issue and will no longer be able to care for him. A friend stepped in to care for the dogs temporarily but they have to be rehomed by the end of this month. Willie is a 6 year old snuggle bug. The person currently staying with the dogs was so touched by how he cuddled up to her at night then followed her to the couch to cuddle some more. He is the ultimate loyal, Velcro dog. We are hoping that we can give Willie another chance in life. He is such a lover has and gets along well with the other dogs in his home. If you are interested in learning more about him, please contact us at animaladvocatesofnorthtexas@ymail.com.

Story
Meet April! She is the most snuggly dog there is and also an amazing traveler and hiker—the perfect adventure buddy wrapped in love and cuddles. She has already overcome knee surgery like a champ and is using that leg so much better now. She’s a big lap dog at heart, loves tossing her toys around, and has a hilarious silly streak that will keep you laughing. If you want a warm, enthusiastic “I missed you so much!” welcome every time you walk through the door, April is your girl. She’s absolutely wonderful with other dogs and would love a playful canine companion to romp around with. She adores kids, as long as they don’t mind big dog kisses, and would be the perfect family dog. April is fantastic on a leash, listens well, and has picked up basic commands so quickly. And if you let her, she would love nothing more than to curl up with you on the couch or bed for hours of snuggles. As her fosters, we have completely fallen for this affectionate, goofy, and adventurous girl and will miss her like crazy. But we know she’s ready to find the perfect forever home that will appreciate her for the sweet, loving, and fun dog that she is. Story
Meet Nova! Nova is a burst of joy just waiting to brighten your world! Her playful energy shines through in her love of toys, zoomies around the yard, and her food-motivated eagerness to learn. But what truly makes Nova special is her endless affection. Whether she’s curled up on the couch, sleeping beside you, or chewing on a bone nearby, she’s happiest when she’s by your side, soaking up every bit of love you have to give.   Her story is one of courage and second chances. Born in 2020, Nova was saved from the euthanasia list as a pregnant stray, and with the help of kind rescuers, she and her 8 precious puppies were nurtured and found loving homes. Nova found a home, but she was returned through no fault of her own. Now she’s ready to begin again with a forever family who will love and cherish her unconditionally.   Nova is house trained, crate trained, and wonderful with children. She has done well with dogs of all sizes, genders, and ages with slow and proper introductions. She thrives under the care of a confident handler with breed experience who can provide firm, consistent guidance. Nova is working on leash excitability and reactivity in public settings, but she responds well to redirection and correction with an experienced owner. Continued training and structure will help her flourish.   If you’re searching for a loyal, loving, and spirited companion who embodies the beauty of second chances, Nova is ready to light up your life. Are you the special person who can give Nova the forever home she deserves? Let Nova’s love and resilience shine in your world!  Nova was born in 2020 and is being fostered in Texas.
