Story
Beaux is an amazing and loving friend. He is a 6 year old big ball of energy and a big baby. He loves children but I don’t recommend around babies or tiny children as he doesn’t know his own strength and size. He loves being outside and I would love for him to have a nice size yard that he can release his energy in. Beaux is not a big fan of other dogs, but he has lived with my mom’s dog for 2 years with no incidents. Beaux weighs 83 pounds and the vet said he is all muscle, so he will need an owner who can manage his strength. He had all his shots and goes to the vet every 6 months for check ups. He is perfectly healthy besides some skin irritation.

Story
Athena was adopted in October of 2015 when I was in college. She has made it through many moves and life changes. She is now a sweet old lady who just wants to live out the rest of her days in the comfort of a loving home. She has been well cared for, well loved and cherished. She would need to be the only pet in the home but does amazingly with people. She has been around kids before and does well with them. My parents have been keeping her for the past year and can no longer do it. I would take her back but my husband is severely allergic. She is very smart and well house trained.

Story
7/14/2023 Pancho II is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Pancho! I am a 1.5 year old handsome brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to dynamics in my family changing and they are no longer able to provide me with the time that I need since moving into my second home. I am described as active, friendly, smart, protective, and playful. I currently live with other resident dogs and we are said to get along fine. There are no kids in my home but when I had exposure to kids at the dog park, I was fine with them. I do not live with cats but will bark at them from the house when they walk by, so it is unsure if I am feline friendly. I do need some help with learning how to be house trained and crate trained, if that is required in my forever home. I am a quick learner so these should be easy for me to learn. Currently I sleep outside but would love to sleep indoors like I have in the past. If I must be left alone, it is suspected that I could be curious and not have the best behavior because I’m used to being left alone with the resident dogs and used to having company. When I am outside I do not attempt to jump fences/gates but I am curious about what is under the grass and will dig to find out. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, wrestling and chasing other dogs, watching tv, going to the dog park, being with the humans, and cuddling. If you are looking for a sweet and active boy, look no further! Contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you! ##1771746##

Story
6/24/2023 Bones II is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Bones! I am a 3-5-year-old handsome flashy black male that is an owner surrender due to my current foster taking me in as a stray and getting me healthy with the intention of finding me a forever home. While in their care, it was discovered I have a cleft lip but it does not affect me. I am said to be friendly, active, smart, calm, playful, affectionate, quiet, and obedient. I currently live with 2 children (ages 9 and 15 years) and I do fine with them. It is unsure if I am dog or cat friendly so a proper introduction would be needed. I am crate trained but will need help learning house training manners. At night I sleep in my kennel because I love it there. When I must be left alone I do fine. When I am outside, I have good behavior and do not dig or jump fences. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, jumping and popping bubbles when the kid blows them, people, attention, affection, and water for bath/play. My current owner says I have been the best dog that jumps like a fish out of water with excitement. They are hoping the rescue can help find me an amazing home! If you think I would be a good fit for your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name! I’m waiting to meet you! ##1756325##

Story
Hey there! I'm Galahad, but you can call me G for short! I might not know my exact age, but I think I'm around 4 years young. I've been chilling with my foster fam since September, and while it's been fun, I'm totally ready to find my forever home. Not sure where these scars came from—my previous human tried patching me up after some rough times, but I ended up with these chemical burns. Thankfully, I'm feeling way better since saying bye-bye to that pesky eye. Now I'm ready to tackle life head-on! I love hanging out with little humans, and I've never been aggressive with people. When it comes to furry friends, I'm good with those too, but it might take me a little while to get comfy. Patience and slow introductions are a must.  I'm all about that active lifestyle, especially when it involves leash adventures. Walking or running, count me in! I LOVE exercise. I can get a bit reactive around other dogs while on leash, but my foster mom's been training me on leash manners—I'm a fast learner, promise! House-trained? Check. Crate-loving? Not so much. I'm more of a free spirit. I've got the whole house-training thing down, but truth be told, I'm not a big fan of the crate life. I'm pretty laid-back overall, but when visitors come over, I can't help but show some excitement. Who can blame me, right? So, if you're on the hunt for a furry friend who's up for adventures and snuggle sessions, I'm your guy. Let's make it official, yeah?
