Story
Redford is loving life and discovering the puppyhood he never had. Because of this, Red is extremely energetic, curious and loves attention. He will thrive with an experienced adopter who can continue his training and set boundaries. He doesn’t know where his off button is. Due to his background he has issues with resource guarding and should not be around kids. He will need slow introductions to new people and pets in a controlled setting. Redford loves to run, play, and be outside. He would probably make a good running buddy. He would not do well in an apartment. Although only about 30lbs, his zoomies make him a small wrecking ball. His resume: Looking for: furever home. Ideal job: Market Research - toy chew tester Ideal hobby: competitive treat eating Loves: patio lounging, toy destruction, zoomies, snuggles and pets, playing in water Dislike: leash walking, strangers, people wanting ‘his’ things, rain & wet grass (0 stars) Another dog starved nearly to death. Adopted from the shelter and returned like this. Individual stated they couldn't afford food. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Meet Negan – a 3-year-old Boxer with a big love for treats! Negan can be a little shy and nervous around new people, so he’s looking for a patient adopter who will give him time to feel comfortable. He’s food aggressive, so he’d do best in a home without kids or other pets.Negan would love a yard to roam, but he could also adapt to an apartment with the right owner. He’s feeling a bit stressed in the shelter, and we’re hoping to find someone who can give him a fresh start. Could you be the one to help Negan feel safe and loved?INTAKE DATE: 4/12/2025

Story
The Friends Litter is 11 weeks old! Ross is still the biggest of the bunch, weighing in at 16.03 lbs, while Monica is the smallest at 12.13 lbs. Potty training and kennel training are officially underway, and all six pups are catching on quickly! They’re having a blast playing with toys and socializing with the other dogs in their foster home. Their foster mom says they’re all incredibly sweet, happy little pups. According to Wisdom Panel, the Friends Litter is a mix of 21 different breeds, with the top three being Alaskan Malamute, Pit Bull, and Husky. These pups are expected to weigh between 51–86 pounds once fully grown. If you are interested in adding one of the Friends Litter puppies to your family, visit rescuerowinc.org to fill out an application! *Due to their breed makeup, we will not be placing them in apartments.*Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2352028##

Story
To our surprise and per Wisdom Panel, Conway is primarily American Pit Bull Terrier (37%) and Golden Retriever (27 %), Great Pyrenees (7%) and American Staffordshire Terrier (7%) with a dash of Australian Cattle Dog, Beagle, Australian Shepherd, Basset Hound, Chow Chow, Boxer, American Bulldog and the inevitable 1% Chihuahua! Conway is estimated to be 40-71 lbs as an adult. He currently weighs 31 lbs and is 5 1/2 months old. Conway is busy learning all the important puppy things—crate training, potty training, and how to maximize his cuteness for extra treats! He’s a happy pup who gets along great with his foster brothers, steals socks with great enthusiasm, and has never met a stranger. He has made great advancements in crate training and now sleeps through the night! He’s also mastered the doggy door, and potty training is going great. To satisfy his sock-stealing obsession, he now has his very own designated sock that he’s actually allowed to steal (a small victory for his foster family!). This little guy is learning fast, growing even faster, and charming everyone along the way! If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org  *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex.
