Story
10/16/2024 Toby IV is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi My name is Toby IV ! I am a handsome 10-year-old flashy brindle gentleman that is an owner surrender due to my owners moving and unable to take me with them. I am a distinguished member of the rescue's Silver Heart program so be sure to ask about it because there are great perks for my adoptive family, in addition to adopting me! I am described as friendly, calm, and affectionate! It is said that I am content in my own space and unbothered by other dogs, but would do best as an only dog in my new home. I live with a 4-year-old human kid and do well with kids. It was determined I do not like cats so I need a cat free home. I am house trained, crate trained, know basic commands, and at night I sleep on my bed in the living room. When the humans must be away, I am fine being left alone. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I do not care to play with toys now that I am older, but I enjoy bones! Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, going on walks, and getting attention from people! If you think I would be a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today and tell them you'd like to meet Silver Heart Toby IV because I am waiting to meet you!  ##2204267##

Story
Hi! My name is Ebba! I am a beautiful 8 year old flashy fawn lady! No information is known about my history but I'm looking forward to my forever family now! I am energetic when I am first let out of my crate, but settle quickly. I am house trained, crate trained, and leash trained! I enjoy my evening walks and have been learning house rules and manners while settling nicely into daily routines. My foster home does not have kids so a proper introduction would be needed. I happily follow my foster mom around the house and am a world champion snuggler! I am an avid squirrel chaser and would chase them up the tree if I could, so I need to live in a cat free and small animal free home. Because I have a high prey drive with the squirrels, my foster mom doesn't leave me in the backyard unattended. I can be a bit bossy and protective so it would be best for me if I was the only dog in the home or paired with a passive male. If you are looking for a well mannered, snuggly lady, here I am! Contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you! If you're interested in fostering a dog, please fill out the Foster Application   https://austinboxerrescue.com/ways-to-help/foster/     If you're interested in adopting a dog, please fill out the Adoption Application  http://austinboxerrescue.com/adoption-application/ Our volunteers will work with you to find the best dog for your home. ##2088032##

Story
2/25/2025 Brady II is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Brady II ! I am a handsome 5-year-old flashy fawn boy that is an owner surrender due to my owner passing away and I am on the hunt for my forever home! I am described as friendly, active, smart, and affectionate! Although I prefer the company of humans and very friendly to everyone I meet, I am said to be dog friendly with those my size or bigger because I get "too interested" in smaller dogs. I do not currently live with children so a proper meet and greet would be needed. It was stated that in my previous home that I did not like cats, so I prefer a cat free home. I am house trained, crate trained, and at night I sleep in my kennel. When the humans must be away, I am fine being left alone and very quiet in my crate. While outside, I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I'm not too interested in toys and will watch you go pick up a ball that you threw for me to get.  Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, getting attention, being with humans, and food! If you think I would make a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!  ##2312412##
