Story
12/28/2023 Koala is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Koala! I am an 9-year-old handsome flashy fawn boy that is an owner surrender due to a change in my family’s dynamics and we no longer have access to room to run and play. My brother, Kuda, is also available for adoption and we would love to stay together, meaning twice the amount of boxer love for our forever family! I am described as friendly, active, calm, playful, quiet, obedient, and affectionate. I am dog and kid friendly! I currently live with my fur brother and a 6-year-old kid and do well with both. I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly and a proper introduction would be needed. I am house trained, crate trained, and at night I sleep in my crate. When the owners must be away and I am left alone I do okay but am excited to see my human when they get home! When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, my small rubber tire toy, being outside, my brother Kuda, and cuddling. If you think my brother and I would be a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them our names because we are waiting to meet you! ##1900087##

Story
2/28/2024 Ross aka Tucker is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Ross aka Tucker! I am a handsome 8-year-old brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to not being dog friendly and for everyone’s safety, it is best that I am the only dog in the home. My current home is next to a creek/golf club that is unfenced, and I do not get along with any animals that come into my yard. I am described as friendly, active, smart, playful, affectionate, and obedient! Like a typical boxer, I love kids! There are no kids in my current home but there are a lot of neighbor kids that I interact with and they love me! I am house trained and have had crate training in the past, but I am able to be trusted to freely roam the house when the humans are away. I initially bark when they leave the home but settle in once they are gone. Like a true king, at night I sleep on a stacked throne of 3 dog beds in the human’s bedroom. When outside, I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, Kong toys, bones, being brushed, and catching frisbees! My current family wants nothing more than for me to have a safe and active home for me to play and be loved! If you think I would be a good addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you! ##1983782##

Story
5/20/2024 Bonnie IV is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Bonnie IV! I’m a beautiful 6-year-old brindle girl that is an owner surrender due to my family not having enough time for me and I’m no longer getting along with the other dog in the home. For everyone’s safety, it is best that I am the only dog in the home. Years ago I was separated from my family for 8 months and it is suspected that contributed to some of my behavior with other dogs. I am described as shy, playful, affectionate, and nervous! I am kid friendly and currently live with 3 kids (ages 2-6 years old) and love them! I have lived with a cat and did not like it so I need to be in a cat free home. I am timid and shy around strangers and will bark and run from them. I am house trained, crate trained, and sleep in my crate at night. When the humans must be away from the home, I do ok but prefer to be with the family. I am fearful of new people, storms, and fireworks and do not like sharing my people or food with other dogs. When I am outside, I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, playing catch, balls, getting love and hugs from the humans, treats, and food! If you think I would make a good addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you! ##2058242##

Story
I have a beautiful dog that we love, but we got him as a rescue puppy not knowing the breed or how big he’d be. His Mom was 39lbs and he’s over 85lbs (12 months old). 50% American Bully, 25% Belgian malinois and 25% german shepherd. Chipped, has had all of his shots, and is neutered. But, I have a young child entering the home and he gets excited and knocks them over due to his size. Has never broken the skin when play biting anyone, but does mouth kids who have cried saying he it them and has broken the skin when scratching kids from jumping. Seems to be smart and easy to train in some ways, but I can't give him the attention he needs to watch over him. Comes when called, knows sit/stay, and waits on his dog bed while I get his food ready. Very friendly and happy dog in general. Crate-trained and potty-trained. Seeking the right home for him. He really enjoys the company of other dogs (plays with all sizes at the dog park).

Story
Bones is a very amazing dog with a big heart! He loves a good long nap after running as fast as he can outside. Bones cannot wait to get all the love from everyone and will cuddle up next to you or on you! He is crate trained and very good at learning commands. He does pretty good with having playmates however, a single dog household would be his best option.
