Story
Meet Fleming! She is such a good girly! She loves everyone and we love her. Fleming is very playful and high energy. She would love a dog sibling who is super playful as well. She is REALLY into her people and wants to be wherever you are. Fleming loves all humans but also has a very impressive vertical she likes to show off spontaneously so maybe best to not have teeny tiny humans in the home. Probably good to note that Fleming is just under a year old so still a bit of a baby herself. Fleming's safe place is her kennel. She sleeps there at night and hangs there whenever we leave the house. She also loves to run and play outside. She is an expert rabbit watcher/ chaser. Literally the happiest dog l've ever met! We are looking for a family or individual who loves her as much as we do. Fleming is a unique mix of German Shepherd, Belgian Malinois, Chihuahua, and Cattle Dog, making her a stunning and one-of-a-kind pup. She embodies the best traits of each breed, resulting in a remarkable and versatile companion. Fleming is also potty trained, which means no more accidents inside the house. One of Fleming's greatest qualities is her ability to get along with other dogs. She is great at socializing and enjoys the company of her furry friends. Whether it's playtime at the park or a doggy playdate, Fleming is always up for some fun and games. Smile, because Fleming is waiting to become a part of your family. Start the adoption process today and embark on a journey filled with love, joy, and endless snuggles. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Story
Puppy dog eyes overload! Max knows just how to melt your heart with his eyes. All love and sweetness from this boy. He is happy, well behaved and so smart. He loves to be outside and romp around then come inside and relax on his bed. He is very friendly and also a little shy at the same time. He prefers to just stay home and chill vs going out on car rides and adventures. He says leave me at home but don't be gone long because I'm just patiently waiting for you to come home. So...he's not one to go run and jump in the car when the door opens. House trained, dog friendly and lives with cats. His owner was admitted to assisted living and sweet Max was too big to make the move and thus found himself looking for new home that will love him for all the love he has to give! All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, micochipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Looking for a foster home or permanent home for sweet Lila. Lila was a stray at Dallas Animal Services. We got her but quickly realized my daughter was allergic. We did not want to take her back to the shelter and was able to manage while my daughter was at summer camps, but now we are desperate for a place for her. She is a social butterfly and she would love a home with a yard and another dog sibling to play with but any loving home would work for her. She is about 8-9 months and mixed breed. She is a quick learner and knows sit, lay down, stay, come, gentle, dance, eat, heel, car…and I am sure will quickly learn others. We have been training her on a leash and is doing well but if those bunnies are around she will want to get them. She is house broken and crate trained.

Story
My name is Betty June, but my friends call me Betty. I was found as a stray in the Justin, TX and the local vet said I’m around 3 years old and weigh 50 Lbs. They think I’m a mix of boxer and a catahhoula dog. I am up to date on all my shots and have been chipped. I am a very chill girl and love, love, love food, treats and toys (don’t like to share toys). I enjoy the company of humans so much, but happy to hang out in my kennel when necessary. I have not had any accidents in my new home and am how to walk on a leash. I am a smart lady! Also, I have warmed up to my foster dog-sister, SuzyQ. Proper introductions will be needed if you have a pet,  like most dogs when living with a new member. I am super sweet and just a great girl!  Because I am very “interested” in fuzzy small critters like bunnies and cats, it would be best if I could I have fenced yard. Could you be my forever home? If you think I could be, just submit an online adoption application for a meet and greet. Codysfriendsrescue.org  ##1683335##

Story
Jiggy's owners left her behind when they moved. Jiggy stayed loyal to her owners by staying on the property in case they came back; unfortunately she was hit by a car one day while she ventured out looking for food. Due to lack of proper care after her accident, her spine grew crooked causing her to be incontinent (meaning she doesn't have full control of her bladder or defecation). Jiggy Jill doesn't realize that she is different than any other dog. She is able to run and play. She is truly the happiest, silliest and most active pup. Jiggy gets along with other dogs, cats and loves humans. Jiggy is special needs and requires extra care. She is on a special prescription food which keeps her poops solid for easy clean up. She is also trained to wear diapers and overalls while she is indoors. Jiggy Jill might have been a throw away stray who nobody cared for but we want to give her the best quality life. She definitely deserves it. All Dallas DogRRR adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. The standard minimum donation for puppies is $325 + 8.25% tax = $351.81, for dogs over 12 months the adoption fee is $225 + 8.25% tax = $243.66 and for our senior dogs 8 years and up is $100 + 8.25% tax = $108.25; this increase includes sales tax recently required by the State of Texas to collect. You can view all the adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallasdogrrr.org. For more information, you can email adopt@dallasdogrrr.org. Story
Stallone, a big lug with a smile that lights up a room. Another pup left to starve, abandoned on the streets in South Texas. It's a dumping ground littered with dogs that no one wants or even notices. Stallone is a sweet boy. He just loves people and other dogs so much, he cant help but be overexcited when out on walks. It can be frustrating for Stallone when he sees all these potential dog friends, but the pesky leash is preventing him from unleashing his social butterfly. We are helping Stallone to make calmer choices, and if he makes the best good choices we might actually let him say hello! He is working on his leash manners and has come along way. Stallone working on his 'adopt me' smile...it also doubles as his 'gimme all the cookies' face. We can't even train with this super smart boy without smiling along with him. He is a big ol lovebug who just wants to cuddle. His intake pictures were worse than the cold dark photo received in the dog catcher truck asking for help. He was worn and weathered, he was given a blanket while he waited for his ride to Freedom, he took it and made it a bed as if it was his first nice thing he had in a while. All shelters have a mandatory stray hold. The shelter waived that due to his medical condition. He clearly had no care at all and NO-ONE was missing him. He was just a STRAY; he belongs to no-one he just wandered the streets for survival! He had a large tumor on his testicles, his nails were long, he was bald, skinny, and had deep wounds. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at http://dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Tater Tot was purchased from a breeder and then later surrendered to Dallas DogRRR Rescue. When he was a baby he experienced a traumatic injury to his hip and spinal cord. It was determined Tater's mom or owner stepped on him as a pup and the previous owner never fixed his injury. His hip was completely out of the socket and the other leg did not seem to be functioning. We had him seen by our doctors and decided to remove the one leg due to Tater chewing his foot; it had become necrotic and unsaleable. There was no way to save the leg. The other leg was not repairable and eventually it also had to be amputated due to becoming necrotic as well. Tater needs someone who is willing to give him the special care that he needs. He is paralyzed from the hips down. He wears diapers due to his incontinence. We assure you is comfortable and has a good quality of life. Once you meet this guy you will know. If you have any questions prior to adopting please email patti@dallasdogrrr.org Tater gets around wonderfully there not much that slows him down. He does have a wheelchair that was purchased for him. Update from his foster..... Tater has settled in well. He's quite a character and becoming a Velcro pup, always wanting to be by his fosters side. He is on the search for a full time bone holder. His T-Rex arms mixed with the cone he had to wear after surgery made properly holding a bone difficult. This boy loves to chew; so you must be able to hold at least two bones at one time! Proper holding of bone rewards you with the cutest looks and sweetest licks. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption.
