She LOVES all people!

We are taking care of his mild case of heartworms (what happens when any dog isn't on prevention). We are looking to rehome our almost 8-year-old male boxer, who has been a cherished part of our family but now needs a home that can better meet his specific needs. As a puppy, he was sweet and playful, but as he matured, he began exhibiting dominant behaviors, particularly toward our other male dog. He required surgery for undescended testicles, and although this helped, some aggressive tendencies remain, especially outside the home.At home, he is affectionate, playful, and loves to cuddle. However, he has shown aggression toward other dogs and certain people. While he has never bitten anyone, he has snapped at others, including our toddler, and attacked other dogs. For these reasons, he cannot be placed in a home with children, other dogs, or xxxx@xxxx.x is very protective and struggles in public settings, particularly around unfamiliar animals and people. While we believe his behavior could improve with the right training, we are unable to provide the resources he needs.
