Story
Meet Jay! Jay is a cute and happy B&W mixed breed puppy. He is 11 weeks and weighs around 14 pound so he will be a medium sized adult, but that is purely speculative based on his current size since we don't know his parents. Jay is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, healthy and ready to find his family! Jay is very dog and people friendly and he just loves attention and playtime! He is all smiles and total body wiggling when he sees a friendly face! He is healthy and getting the best care in his foster home! We think it's best that Jay not be with young children. They overwhelm him. Older children are fine! If you are living in a condo or apt and have weight restrictions on pets please be aware that we can not guarantee adult size! Jay is in New England and ready for adoption. The adoption donation is $375 which includes a health certificate and costs for transport north. If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please go to www.angelsamongusanimalrescue.org and fill out an online adoption application. Thank you!

Story
Hey, There-my name is Watson but my nickname should be Mr. Playful. I LOVE everyone I meet. Person-dog-cat- whatever…I’m going to follow you around and ask for all the pets! My favorite activities include chasing a ball around the backyard and going for walks with my foster dad. I’m one of the friendliest dogs in the rescue so I always get invited to all their fun events. I’m not only a master on a leash but also do great on car rides & in my kennel. I may be playful but I know how to read a room and when to chill. We asked my foster dad for a list of things about me- he did a pretty good job! He loves to share your pillow at night (or try to take it all) He chases his tail like a tornado. Gives you little love sniffs to the face. Rolls over on top of you for belly rubs. Like to lay against your legs while napping. Peeks his head in the shower and wants to lick your wet legs. Follows you everywhere. At ALL TIMES. He gives good hugs. I can’t think of one reason that would make you not fill an application out for me unless you hate fun.

In addition, our coordinators offer as much information regarding the medical and behavioral and personality characteristics as is known to our organization. Without them, and our extremely generous donors, we would not be able to save as many animals as we do every day. With each adoption, we operate a Pay It Forward program, whenever possible, to help other animals in our rescue and future animals in need. If you are interested in one of our animals, please complete an application. The application link can be found on our Petfinder homepage under the picture. You may also find our application on our website at www.petmatchmakerrescue.com under the Adopt page. If they are listed on our website, their adoptions have not been finalized yet. That does not mean that we have not received several applications, already. Please complete an application if you are interested and we will keep you apprised of their current status. We are all volunteers that work full-time jobs, so please be patient with us. We will get back with you as quickly as possible. Story
Say hello to Dida! She is a 2-3 year old boxer. Dida is about 45lbs. Dida entered her foster home as if she had always lived there. She loves each and every one of her foster siblings. It took a few days, but she showed us all how to really play with toys. Dida has been uncrated in her foster home from day one and is FOOLPROOF. She walks well on lead. Her house manners are impeccable. Understandably, Dida is still cautious around new folks, but quickly warms up. Her boxer dancing and prancing are a joy to see. If you love the breed, DO NOT miss the chance to love this girl all the rest of her days. The best home for Dida will have a secure fence. Kids over 10 and with excellent doggy manners would be ok. Another well temperamented dog would be fabulous. An excellent history of vet care for current or previous pets is required. Previous specific breed experience will be given preference. She is fully vetted including spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $300. If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Dida here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 10:56 pm

Story
Duke is approximately 1 year old. My son found him when he was a puppy. He is moving and needs to find a good home for him. Duke is very smart. He knows the basic commands of sit and shake but follows and catches on to directions quickly. He has been with me for about two weeks and gets along great with my two dogs. He loves to play fetch and makes up his own games with his stuffed animals. He was brought up on a leash but is currently enjoying the freedom of my large fenced in back yard. He uses our doggy door and is house trained. He loves snuggling and attention. He is not crate trained. He loves children. He has been cat tested. He really needs a family or individual that has time to play and show him the love he deserves.
