I'm gonna make you an wo-offer you can't refuse. That's Pacino's favorite phrase. The adoption deal is simple: a roof over his head, a cold dish of water, daily meals and treats, plus an abundance of love. What? It's a good deal! Pacino, now over a year old, has become a true Dogfather. He is well-behaved, happy-go lucky, is very handsome, and has a wonderful, playful nature; he fits seamlessly into any family. His lineage boasts a long line of Dog-Father's, tough dogs out in the world whose business is their own. But, they are loyal, loving and strong characters to have around you.. He's a potty-trained and crate-trained gentleman, but he still has a penchant for chewing. He adores treats and toys, but can go through them quickly. Proper and slow introductions to other dogs are essential. Pacino would thrive best with older kids. Join the legacy and give Pacino the family he deserves. After all, a dog like him is an offer you can't refuse. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Teddy is a sweet and playful Boxer/Shepherd mix. He's a little shy at first, especially in new environments. But with a 4 legged friend, Teddy will quickly come out of his shell. Whether he's zooming around the yard or playing a game of fetch, Teddy's joyful spirit is contagious. Teddy is not just about fun and games, after a fun day of play, Teddy will gather up his toys and bring them onto the couch for some snuggling. He's great with children, other dogs, housebroken, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash, making him a well-rounded companion. Teddy thrives best with a four-legged buddy by his side. He's looking for a home where he can build his confidence with the help of a furry friend. If you're searching for a loving, playful, and loyal addition to your family, Teddy is the perfect match! Story
Herbie is a lovable 70-pound Boxer mix with a heart full of gold. About a year old, he was found wandering the back roads of Tennessee without a collar or microchip, battling a tough case of mange. While no one has come forward to claim him, Herbie is now looking for his forever family! His skin is healing beautifully, and his sweet, curious nature shines through more each day. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Herbie enjoys his daily walks and is getting better at leash manners. He’s also learning to curb his excitement when greeting people! He’s great with other dogs and, after playtime, is happy to sit quietly by your side. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but we think his gentle personality would be a great match for the right home! Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Herbie find loving homes. Story
"The journey of your life will become the sweetest if traveling with a dog." This makes us think of our precious Uncle Cracker! . Why we love him: He is an absolute sweetheart who truly enjoys our company! Meet everyone's favorite uncle....our very own Uncle Cracker! He is so handsome with his snow white coat and warm brown eyes. We love the speckles on his muzzle and ears, too. Uncle Cracker is four years old and weighs 63 pounds. If you want to adopt a medium sized companion, he could be the one! He is so gentle, friendly and good natured and we love spending time with him. Uncle Cracker is very affectionate and one of our favorite cuddle buddies! He really enjoys being petted and sitting with you to relax and share the day. Lucky Uncle Cracker spent some time in a foster home during the holidays and his family reports: "Uncle Cracker is so sweet, handsome, good-natured, and smart. He sits for treats and learns quickly. Uncle Cracker loves to play with toys. He enjoys chasing balls and will allow you to take them from his mouth when he is in the mood to keep fetching them. Uncle Cracker loves to jump and wiggle when he wants to play. He seemed to get a little calmer every day he was here. He allowed me to dry him off and clean his paws, and he’s a real love bug! Uncle Cracker was calm with a house full of company and friendly to everyone. He came up to the table a couple of times, but didn’t beg for food. I haven’t been around children with him, but I think he’ll be fine. He quickly fell in love with riding on the seat of our 4-wheeler and wasn’t startled when our tractor drove close by. I wouldn’t trust him alone with food on the kitchen counter yet. He seems to understand “no” pretty well, but he’s not quite there yet and still challenges boundaries. He can be a puller, so the underharness helps a lot, and he’s getting much better except when he gets excited or sees another dog, rabbit, deer, etc. He’s good about staying off furniture unless invited, but you have to let him know (he really wants to be a lap dog on the couch). He sleeps in our big dog bed, and since we only have one dog bed these days, it didn’t take him long to squeeze his big self into a cat bed downstairs! I really think he needs a doggy playmate to help him stay occupied." He is a loyal, well-mannered companion on daily walks and adores being close by your side. Uncle Cracker looks forward to daily outings in the fenced yard, where he loves to run and play and has so much fun. He especially enjoys the toys and is so agile and athletic! He is a bright, obedient dog who wants to please and should master any commands you wish to teach him. Come meet Uncle Cracker and you will see why he is so special to us! E-mail ccacangels@yahoo.com for more information! Please come visit! We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Story
Meet Francesca -- one of the puppies of the Bridgerton Litter pups! A mama and her five babies were left in a crate outside of animal control when the babies were only a few days old. Sadly, one puppy didn't make it. Animal control reached out to JoJo's and we took in mama and her four babies before the pups had their eyes open. We gave them a birth date of May 20, 2024. We do not know their breed for certain, but the older they get the more they look like Boxer/Bully mix to us. Mama Violet is brindle and white and looks like she has some hound in her, She is estimated to be 3-4 years old and weighs about 42 lbs, so we are guessing her puppies will grow up to be medium sized (50-60 lbs?) The puppies have been well-socialized since they were just a few days old and are all very sweet, friendly and playful. They also are absolute cuddlebugs and want a person or family of their own to love. They play great with other dogs. We do not know about cats, but they do not seem to have any noticeable prey drive and they have such mellow temperament, that we feel like they would be fine with cats. If you think you might want to give this sweet pup a home, please email jojosdogrescue@gmail.com and we will send you an application, or visit our website: www.jojosdoghouse.com and download one. Adoption fee is $250, which includes spay, up-to-date vaccinations, parasite treatment, and microchip with lifetime registration. Please visit our Facebook page JoJo's DogHouse (non-profit) to learn more about us and see many of the dogs we have rescued. We hope you'll join JoJo's family of adopters!

Story
Captain here, looking for a dog to lead the way? Consider me! I am loyal, goofy, and lots of fun! I can be nervous until we know each other better, but if you lived on the cold/hot hard streets you may be a little wary with new people too. Now, my time at the rescue has really really improved my life and I am SO MUCH more social and outgoing! I am a big, beautiful reddish-tan Pittie/Labrador mix with a white racing stripe down the middle of my chest! Our small canine family came to God's Dogs Rescue in a pickle, a rag tag group of Labradors and one pregnant female! We came to this safe haven with just 3 dogs and now we're a whole lot more! But all of us are now spayed and neutered and READY for furever families who won't leave us to run the streets and starve, we actually have gotten a little chunky, lol and REALLY HAPPY!! As Captain, I'll ensure that you are properly lead and motivated to get your day to day life moving! Well, that's because I need daily walks but besides the point! Some basic information about Captain; he is male, Pitbull/Labrador Retriever mix, and is medium/large-sized boy, at about 60#. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Meet Nyla, a loving and playful 2-year-old Pitbull Terrier mix who wears the title of "mom" with pride. Nyla's vibrant spirit shines through in her playful antics and her deep affection for belly rubs. When the excitement of playtime kicks in, she has a cute habit of gently taking your hand in her mouth, showing her eagerness for some interactive fun. Nyla has been making great progress in her leash training, proving her willingness to learn and adapt. Baths might not be her favorite activity, as she's a bit wary of water, but her courageous spirit is helping her overcome her fears one step at a time. She's also conquered her initial trepidation of wearing a collar and being on a leash, showing her determination to embrace new experiences. This sweet girl is a fan of knotted ropes and treats - two things that always bring a sparkle to her eyes. While she's currently enjoying the company of her housemates, we're still exploring her comfort level around other dogs. With time and patience, we hope to see Nyla's social circle expand. Nyla's journey is one of growth and transformation, and she's ready to continue that journey with a loving forever family. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with affection and make every moment a joyful one, Nyla might just be the perfect match for you.
