Meet Edison! He is a senior boy at 12 years old. Although he is older, he still has a great appetite and eats hard food. He is deaf, but he does super well with following people and the other dogs. He would prefer a home without other dogs that he would have to share attention, but is fine out on walks around other dogs. He ignores cats and would do well in a home with older children. Younger children may spook him as he sleeps very hard and soundly! He prefers a fenced in yard so that he is able to meander aimlessly and enjoy naps in the sunshine! He is already crate trained and house trained. He is a very easy dog who wants nothing more than a comfortable blanket to sleep on. Petey is one of four angels rescued from a bad situation and ready to live the life he deserves! All lived their entire lives on a chain, and a very heavy one at that. No one deserves that. Especially not these sweet souls. They are all very sweet, very loving and very forgiving. If only humans could be more like dogs, the world would be a better place! Petey is an enthusiastic character who needs a home of his own. A home filled with love and without chains. A warm bed instead of the cold ground. And a place where he can feel safe and secure. Petey is a 4 year old 35 lb American Bulldog/Heeler mix with a lot of energy to run and play…something he has never been able to do. He is neutered, UTD on vaccinations and preventatives.
