Uncle Cracker is four years old and weighs 63 pounds. If you want to adopt a medium sized companion, he could be the one! He is so gentle, friendly and good natured and we love spending time with him. Uncle Cracker is very affectionate and one of our favorite cuddle buddies! He really enjoys being petted and sitting with you to relax and share the day. He is a loyal, well-mannered companion on daily walks and adores being close by your side. Uncle Cracker looks forward to daily outings in the fenced yard, where he loves to run and play and has so much fun. He is so agile and athletic! Jon Katz observed that "Dog love is powerful stuff." This reminds us of our sweet George, who has so much love to give the family lucky enough to take him home! Why we love him: George is a special and loving dog and we adore spending time with him. His furrowed brow makes him look so wise and endearing! George is such a wonderful dog! He is 2 1/2 years old and weighs 48 pounds, so he is a fine choice if you want to adopt a medium sized dog. He is a great on a leash and is a well mannered companion who enjoys daily walks. George truly savors your company! Once he is done, he will sprawl on the grass to hang out and spend quality time with you! George has such fun in the fenced yard, where he enjoys zooming around and playing. He will also lay in the grass and roll around in total joy. It's so great to see! He also has the best time playing with the toys. George has enjoyed play dates with his fellow shelter canines. If you have another dog, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility. George is so friendly and easygoing and is so grateful for attention and affection. He loves everyone, and has a happy doggie smile. He is such a sweetheart! One of our volunteers observes: "The more time you spend with George the more he shows love back. He has the cutest playful side and whimpers with excitement when he knows you. George is also a great hiking or potential running partner, He wants to please and checks in often with those big sweet eyes of his. His love for rolling in the grass is unmatched. Chloe is a 9 year old rescue lab mix - we suspect some boxer/pitbull mixed in as well. She is a sweet dog who loves to cuddle. Up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention. She has been spayed. She is a loving dog that has been a part of our family since she was a tiny puppy. We unfortunately are needing to rehome her as we had a recent incident in which our 3 year old fell on her while playing and she reacted by biting. Injury was minor, but we feel it is best for our family to find her a new, loving (baby/toddler-free home). She has never shown any other aggressive behaviors. Chloe gets along well with other dogs. Lives with another female dog, and they are like sisters. Please reach out with any questions!

Ayer is a sweetheart to say the least. She loves and lives for affection. She's eager to please . She is a dog that is pretty codependent at times.. It manifest a lot of times as separation anxiety and storm anxiety. Don't fret though with management she is the perfect companion. She is currently in a home with a young infant and a three-year-old that she does fabulous with as well. She tends to be a rough player and it's quite goofy with most other dogs. Please no cats. She loves to play! Is housebroken, crate trained, up to date on shots and spayed. Please give this girl a chance of a lifetime since she wholeheartedly deserves it!

Sweet, energetic, Jupiter is ready for adoption. She is a special needs girl who will need continued medical care. When she came to the rescue she had virtually no hair due to Demodex Mange, Heart worm positive, and a severe eye infection caused by Entropion (which is when the eyelids roll inward and the eye lashes are constantly rubbing the eye). She has been treated for mange, been spayed, and has had multiple surgeries to fix her eyes. We do not know if her hair will ever fully come back. She is receiving treatment for heart worms. She will need to continued treatment with eye medication due to now having dry eye. We have also discovered that she suffers from allergies. This will require continued allergy injections, RX food, and regular vet visits for skin issues. We know its a lot, but we simply can't give up on her. She does well with some dogs,, but would love to be spoiled and live her life as an only pet. She does great with the 3yr old in her foster home.

Kane I'm one tank of a boy but the biggest lover you ever met. I'm around 6 years old but you'd never know it since I'm a pup at heart. I have been around kids of all ages and energy levels. Storms give me a bit of anxiety and I don't like to be by myself. Who does though! My anxiety is managed with a few tricks so don't let that stop you from giving me a home of my dreams. I'm working on my leash manners and would ideally do best in a 6 foot fenced in backyard I could run my energy out inside of. I do well with some other dogs but of course best to do a meeting first. No kitties please I just don't understand how big I am and not to play rough. Contact us for a meeting!
