Meet everyone's favorite uncle....our very own Uncle Cracker! He is so handsome with his snow white coat and warm brown eyes. We love the speckles on his muzzle and ears, too. Uncle Cracker is four years old and weighs 63 pounds. If you want to adopt a medium sized companion, he could be the one! He is so gentle, friendly and good natured and we love spending time with him. Uncle Cracker is very affectionate and one of our favorite cuddle buddies! He really enjoys being petted and sitting with you to relax and share the day. He is a loyal, well-mannered companion on daily walks and adores being close by your side. Uncle Cracker looks forward to daily outings in the fenced yard, where he loves to run and play and has so much fun. He is so agile and athletic! Jon Katz observed that "Dog love is powerful stuff." This reminds us of our sweet George, who has so much love to give the family lucky enough to take him home! Why we love him: George is a sweet and loving dog and we adore spending time with him. George is such a great dog! He is 2 1/2 years old and weighs 48 pounds, so he is a fine choice if you want to adopt a medium sized dog. He is a great on a leash and is a well mannered companion who enjoys daily walks. George truly savors your company! Once he is done, he will sprawl on the grass to hang out and spend quality time with you! George has such fun in the fenced yard, where he enjoys zooming around and playing. He will also lay in the grass and roll around in total joy. It's such a joy to see! He also has the best time playing with the toys. George has enjoyed play dates with his fellow shelter canines. If you have another dog, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility. George is so friendly and easygoing and is so grateful for attention and affection. He loves everyone, and has such a happy doggie smile. He is such a sweetheart! One of our volunteers observes: "The more time you spend with George the more he shows love back. He has the cutest playful side and whimpers with excitement when he knows you. George is also a great hiking or potential running partner, He wants to please and checks in often with those big sweet eyes of his." George has enjoyed outings at local parts and loves to explore the trails. He also likes riding in the car. George truly has a heart full of love he can't wait to share with you! Florence is a sweet gal and would do well with children given some patience. We do not know if Florence is house or crate trained, but give her a chance and she will learn! Meet November! Miss November is ready to find her forever home. Novie is a beautiful boxer and mountain cur mix, with an estimated birthday of 12/01/2020. November came to us as a scared and skinny stray who just wanted some love, and she blossomed in our care. She has come up to a healthier weight, and is showing us what a social butterfly she can be! Novie has become a big lovebug, she is all happy smiles and butt wiggles, and has never met someone she didn't love. She does very well with other dogs, but as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any at home. She also does great with kids, but we have not yet tested her with cats. Hey, There-my name is Watson but my nickname should be Mr. Playful. I LOVE everyone I meet. Person-dog-cat- whatever…I’m going to follow you around and ask for all the pets! My favorite activities include chasing a ball around the backyard and going for walks with my foster dad. I’m one of the friendliest dogs in the rescue so I always get invited to all their fun events. I’m not only a master on a leash but also do great on car rides & in my kennel. I may be playful but I know how to read a room and when to chill. We asked my foster dad for a list of things about me- he did a pretty good job! He loves to share your pillow at night (or try to take it all) He chases his tail like a tornado. Gives you little love sniffs to the face. Rolls over on top of you for belly rubs. Like to lay against your legs while napping. Peeks his head in the shower and wants to lick your wet legs. Follows you everywhere. At ALL TIMES. He gives good hugs. I can’t think of one reason that would make you not fill an application out for me unless you hate fun.

Ayer is a sweetheart to say the least. She loves and lives for affection. She's eager to please . She is a dog that is pretty codependent at times.. It manifest a lot of times as separation anxiety and storm anxiety. Don't fret though with management she is the perfect companion. She is currently in a home with a young infant and a three-year-old that she does fabulous with as well. She tends to be a rough player and it's quite goofy with most other dogs. Please no cats. She loves to play! Is housebroken, crate trained, up to date on shots and spayed. Please give this girl a chance of a lifetime since she wholeheartedly deserves it!

Sweet, energetic, Jupiter is ready for adoption. She is a special needs girl who will need continued medical care. When she came to the rescue she had virtually no hair due to Demodex Mange, Heart worm positive, and a severe eye infection caused by Entropion (which is when the eyelids roll inward and the eye lashes are constantly rubbing the eye). She has been treated for mange, been spayed, and has had multiple surgeries to fix her eyes. We do not know if her hair will ever fully come back. She is receiving treatment for heart worms. She will need to continued treatment with eye medication due to now having dry eye. We have also discovered that she suffers from allergies. This will require continued allergy injections, RX food, and regular vet visits for skin issues. We know its a lot, but we simply can't give up on her. She does well with some dogs,, but would love to be spoiled and live her life as an only pet. She does great with the 3yr old in her foster home.

Benji is a lovable dog I got in 2021, and he’s around 6 years old (though I’m not 100% sure of his exact birthday). He’s a great runner and cuddler who would thrive in a single-family household. Unfortunately, Benji doesn’t get along with my new addition to the pack and has had issues with other dogs, including an attack in the past. He does not do well with cats or at dog parks, but he is a wonderful companion at home, where he just needs more attention and love. He’s a good dog who deserves someone who can dedicate time and care to him.
