MEET DELSIN!STATS: 1.5 years old, neutered, Black Boxer Mix, 46lbsAFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a sweet, affectionate, and playful boy! I enjoy some quality one-on-one time with my people, but I also love running around the yard with the other dogs! I really adore people and absolutely shine when you spend time with me (especially when there are treats involved!)WHAT I LOVE: I LOVE going on walks, chasing squeaky toys in the yard, attempting to finally catch a tennis ball, and learning new tricks since I am very treat motivated. KIDS: I haven`t been formally tested with kids here at the shelter, but the staff think I would do well with older, dog savvy kids!OTHER DOGS: I`m dog-friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs, as long as they are respectful of my space and don`t try to manhandle me! I go to playgroup every day here at the shelter!CATS: UnknownHIS MATCH: I would be so happy with a family that will show me the love and attention I have always wanted! I am such a sweet and goofy guy, so I would shine with someone who is willing to give me all the quality time I crave.SPECIAL NOTE: I have the most uniquely crooked/curly tail!Complete an online application and get pre-approved to adopt at https://www.cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/PetAdoptionSurvey. Story
Greta came into rescue after being seized by animal control from a cruelty case. At that time, she weighed only 26 pounds and was suffering extensive hair loss due to malnutrition. She is still gaining weight (up to almost 40lbs now!) and growing her hair back but neither of these factors keep her from being a sweet, loving dog. Greta is a big ray of sunshine in a little package, always eager for a snuggle or just to follow her person around. She loves to bask in the backyard and laze on the couch and is always ready to greet you with a smile and a big tail wag. While she will continue to need time and patience to adjust to life in the world, her sweet disposition makes it a privilege to provide her a stable and loving home. Greta is good with other dogs and kids, potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and sleeps in her crate through the night. Despite her history she has no issues with food or resource guarding. She is a quiet dog and so very deserving of a good home where she will be safe and well cared for. Humans failed her for the first three years of her life: let’s ensure we do right by her for the rest of it. --- To apply to adopt, please follow the steps for adoption on HalfwayThereRescue.com/Adoption-Process and apply directly here: https://fs26.formsite.com/htrnp/a2k3lsooud/index.html

Story
🍀 Meet Grady: Your Lucky Little Sidekick! 🍀 Top o’ the mornin’ to you! I’m Grady, a 13-week-old bundle of joy with a heart as big as Ireland and a personality to match. With my striking black, white, and brindle coat and the coolest sunburst marking on my back I’m basically a walking good-luck charm ☀️ I’m a playful pup who’s full of life and always ready for a good time. Whether I’m romping around with my big foster brother and sister or chasing after toys, I bring the fun wherever I go. I also get along great with kids (ages 5–8), making me a perfect addition to a lively family. Now, let’s talk about my softer side… I am a world-class snuggler 💤💕 After a day of play, I’m happiest curled up next to you, soaking up all the love. I’ve got a sweet, gentle disposition that will melt your heart in seconds. I’m already potty trained (pretty impressive, right?), though I still have the occasional “oops” hey, I’m just a wee lad! With a little patience and consistency, I’ll have it down perfectly in no time. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and just-a-little-bit-lucky companion, I might be your guy. So what do you say ready to add a little Irish charm to your life? 🍀🐾 Adopt Grady and let the good times (and cuddles) roll! --- To apply to adopt, please follow the steps for adoption on HalfwayThereRescue.com/Adoption-Process and apply directly here: https://fs26.formsite.com/htrnp/a2k3lsooud/index.html

Story
Meet Stormy, Stormy was born 8/1/2023. She is a happy ball of cuteness who was surrendered to our rescue after another dog luckily found her crying in a storm drain. She had apparently been living in there and was extremely skinny upon arrival to us, but chunked up pretty quickly with a little love and care. Stormy is now approximately 30lbs and completely house and crate trained. She loves to play with her chew toys. She loves people, and has no aggression towards them at all, but we feel she would be best as part of a "1 animal household" as she seems to be very jealous of her human friends and doesn't like to share them with other animals. Stormy is completely vetted, up to date on all vaccinations and spayed. If you are interested in meeting or adopting this cutie pie, please visit Richardsonrescue.org to fill out an adoption application.
