She is a super sweet 10 year old gal. If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. Adoption fee of $290 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. We only do adoptions on Saturday and not all animals are able to attend so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Meet sweet Octavia! This little girl is around 6-7 months old and came to us from our rural shelter partner when she was only 5 weeks old! Poor girl had a ROUGH start to life but was a fighter and made it through some pretty tough medical conditions. This girl is 100% healthy and is so ready to find her forever home. She has no lasting effects from the battles she fought in the beginning and is just the sweetest and happiest little lady. On top of medical conditions, Octavia then found herself in a situation where she needed rescuing once again. Without going into details we are just happy we have our sweet girl and can spoil her while finding her true forever home. She loves other dogs and does fine with kitties but being a puppy just needs to learn they do not want to play like her other pals do. She is super sweet, doesnt jump, is house trained and does well in crate. Octavia is fully vetted, spayed and microchipped.
