Story
I’m Mochi, a beautiful boxer/Australian shepherd mix puppy and adorable little fluff ball!I’m part of a litter of puppies sadly abandoned along the side of a road. But the wonderful rescue community took us all in, and we spent several weeks in a loving foster home. I’m at the Humane Society of York County now with my sister, and we’re ready to find our forever homes. I’m just a baby with an estimated birth date of January 2026. Like all puppies, I’ll need a forever home where I can continue learning while I grow up – and that means plenty of patience and consistency from my new family. If you love all the joy a puppy brings, come meet me and get some puppy kisses! If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.

Story
Greta came into rescue after being seized by animal control from a cruelty case. At that time, she weighed only 26 pounds and was suffering extensive hair loss due to malnutrition. She is still gaining weight (up to almost 40lbs now!) and growing her hair back but neither of these factors keep her from being a sweet, loving dog. Greta is a big ray of sunshine in a little package, always eager for a snuggle or just to follow her person around. She loves to bask in the backyard and laze on the couch and is always ready to greet you with a smile and a big tail wag. While she will continue to need time and patience to adjust to life in the world, her sweet disposition makes it a privilege to provide her a stable and loving home. Greta is good with other dogs and kids, potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and sleeps in her crate through the night. Despite her history she has no issues with food or resource guarding. She is a quiet dog and so very deserving of a good home where she will be safe and well cared for. Humans failed her for the first three years of her life: let’s ensure we do right by her for the rest of it. --- To apply to adopt, please follow the steps for adoption on HalfwayThereRescue.com/Adoption-Process and apply directly here: https://fs26.formsite.com/htrnp/a2k3lsooud/index.html

Story
🍀 Meet Grady: Your Lucky Little Sidekick! 🍀 Top o’ the mornin’ to you! I’m Grady, a 13-week-old bundle of joy with a heart as big as Ireland and a personality to match. With my striking black, white, and brindle coat and the coolest sunburst marking on my back I’m basically a walking good-luck charm ☀️ I’m a playful pup who’s full of life and always ready for a good time. Whether I’m romping around with my big foster brother and sister or chasing after toys, I bring the fun wherever I go. I also get along great with kids (ages 5–8), making me a perfect addition to a lively family. Now, let’s talk about my softer side… I am a world-class snuggler 💤💕 After a day of play, I’m happiest curled up next to you, soaking up all the love. I’ve got a sweet, gentle disposition that will melt your heart in seconds. I’m already potty trained (pretty impressive, right?), though I still have the occasional “oops” hey, I’m just a wee lad! With a little patience and consistency, I’ll have it down perfectly in no time. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and just-a-little-bit-lucky companion, I might be your guy. So what do you say ready to add a little Irish charm to your life? 🍀🐾 Adopt Grady and let the good times (and cuddles) roll! --- To apply to adopt, please follow the steps for adoption on HalfwayThereRescue.com/Adoption-Process and apply directly here: https://fs26.formsite.com/htrnp/a2k3lsooud/index.html

Story
Dozer is a energetic, loving dog. He'll wake you up in the morning to let you know he needs to handle his business, loves to play fetch with you, loves his stuffed animals, and loves to be close. Very much a velcro dog. Dozer enjoys roaming around in the back yard in the mornings before eating breakfast, followed by a mild play sessions including tossing toys across the room while he retrieves them. He only likes this a handful of times before he just wants to lounge and chew on the toy. His current human works from home, so when it is work time, he'll take a nap behind the humans chair, maybe chew on another toy. He does appreciate the occassional toss of the toy down the hall and retrieval of it. He'll annoy you if he needs to go outside, but otherwise mind his own. Then a walk at the end of the day, around the time work wraps up, some lounging on the couch, dinner, and then bedtime. Dozer is house trained, but doesn't have a signal to tell you he need to use the restroom outside o
