My previous owners kept me completely outside, where I never met any humans or dogs, so I am not a huge fan of strangers. But once I get to know you, I am the most loving and affectionate dog! With proper introductions, she does great with well behaved/supervised children and other dogs her size.She also loves to cuddle and will lay by your feet while working from home or watching TV.She is crate trained and is mastering her household manners with ease. Oscar is a good boy that needs a new home because I cannot give him the life that he deserves. My family has changed drastically since I got him. Unfortunately, we cannot meet his needs. Oscar is a very timid/shy dog that will take a little while to warm up to you. However, once he does he is very loving. He is a cuddler that loves to be around people. He is great with kids, I have a 1 yr old, a 9 yr old, and a 13 yr old. He has been with us for 8 years and has never shown any aggression. In fact, my one yr old loves to dig in his dog bowl while Oscar is eating. Oscar enjoys the company. At time he still has a lot of energy even though he is getting older. He is a homebody. I generally just let him run around our fenced in yard. He can get spooked while on walks and wants to come home. He is good with other dogs and loves to play with them. He is not aggressive. Oscar does have a skin condition that requires a pill everyday, which clears it up.

My parents have many grandchildren and grand dogs that are at their house often, and Butler does not get along with the other dogs. The parents of the children feel it would be best to rehome him with the safety of their children top of mind. Butler has never bitten a human, but with all of the chaos of small children, they do not want to take any chances. Butler is probably about 6 or 7 years old. He is a sweet dog that would do best in a house without any other dogs or very small children.

We adopted Shiver when she was 3 months old, and she is 3 and a half years old now. We are seeking a loving family to give her a forever home. Shiver is a sweet and affectionate dog who loves kids and gets along well with cats and other dogs. She enjoys cuddling, playing fetch, and running in the backyard. She also checks the yard's perimeter before going to bed. Shiver understands commands like "stay," "sit," and "go to your couch." She uses a bell on the doorknob to signal when she needs to go outside for potty. Give her food or treats and ask her to wait. She won't eat until you say "GO", her magic word. She loves walks too. She loves taking naps. Shiver barks to remind us when food is ready from the oven and loves playing with the neighbor's dogs. She formed a close bond with our cat, sometimes being a bit clingy. Shiver can protect your family and home is sweet and affectionate once she gets to know them. She truly is a wonderful dog and you're going to love her.

I had an upper-respiratory infection, a urinary tract infection, hookworms, heartworms, knee problems…I was so tired…I could barely walk and I was about 20 pounds under weight. I battled back because I am a warrior. But they tell me I’m also a goofball. I like laying on the couch with my people; naps are my favorite thing. And food. I like that a lot. My people have cats and the little ones are fun to watch (sometimes the big ones are scary, even for a warrior). Life is pretty good now, but I think I’d like my own person; one I don’t have to share with so many others.
