Story
MEET HANDSOME BENJI! Benji is an almost 4-year-old Boxer-Pit mix in need of a foster or forever home. Benji is very much a couch potato dog in that he loves to lounge on the sofa or sleep on your bed. He's a huge snuggler! He also loves going for car rides! He has done fine around other dogs, but would do well as an only dog, too, because he loves being the center of attention. He's very affectionate, and loves belly rubs. Benji is also an active, strong boy with a prey drive, so he needs a strong owner, and someone who can take him for walks, hikes and other outings. A big, fenced yard would be a plus, but is not a necessity. Overall he's a mellow, easygoing boy, who wants to share his life with you. He weighs about 60 lbs. Please email for an application.

I am a sweet girl, I have a fair amount of energy, but I run it off quickly with daily exercise, I would love an active home, I would make a great running partner, hiking partner and an adventure buddy. My foster family, says I am amazing, loving, I listen pretty well, I love the beach and car rides, I love to snuggle up to my human. No cats for me and I would thrive in a home where I can be the only dog or have a calm dog buddy. My adoption fee is $250

Story
Roseanne's tail is always wagging! She is one happy girl, always with a smile on her face. Roseanne was found dumped with her puppies in a rural area of California where owners unfortunately commonly dump dogs. We are thrilled to have her in our program though so we can help her find a loving home. - 42 pounds and estimated to be 4 years old - Possibly a Boxer/American Staffordshire mix. She has a little underbite and along with her coloring it makes us think Boxer possibly. Roseanne would be a fun one to do a DNA test on! - Very social girl who loves people. She met a whole Cub Scout pack of kiddos and was happy to greet everyone. - Good with other dogs and currently fostered with two large breed male dogs. Roseanne does appreciate dogs that aren't super rowdy and hyper up in her face. She likes a calmer friend with a polite play style. She is mostly all about being with people but will pal around with other dogs. - Crate trained and sleeps in her kennel at night - Doing excellent with her potty habits - Walks well on leash and no leash reactivity noted. Walks fairly loose leash mostly. - We would recommend kids ages 10+ only because she is pretty food motivated and tends to want to nab food out of hands. Her foster mom is working with her on this and it's a pretty easy fix for adults but with young kids she might be tempted to grab their snack. - Haven't had a chance to cat test Roseanne yet. But we can try to arrange that or test her with yours. Roseanne is a great little dog and would make someone an eager adventure buddy. She has a medium energy level and is pretty easy to get along with. Roseanne is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested negative and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner vet clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Tualatin or Portland. $250 adoption fee Fostered in Oregon City, Oregon APPLY TO ADOPT ROSEANNE ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG
