Story
Rob Roy is a very smart puppy dog! He learns commands quickly, is great in a crate, and sleeps through the night without much fuss. His energy level is moderate so getting in a few walks a week would be most ideal. Rob Roy can be a bit of a chatty guy, but one of his favorite pastimes is to be cuddled up on the couch sleeping. Rob Roy would love structure and consistency, in his life, to help with his confidence and sense security. He is currently fostered with a trainer and he would do best to continue his training as he is young. Rob Roy is very gentle with adults and children and loves being brushed. He is less interested in other dogs than he is his people, he would be perfectly happy to be your one and only. While he is good with dogs, he won't be interested in playing so a respectful dog sibling would be best. Rob Roy has taken quickly to house training, and going outside to potty. He is very good on a leash and loves going to the beach and river, tromping through the water and still remains focused on his person while doing these things. Rob Roy would be a great companion for all of the adventures you want to go on, big or small.

Story
Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Hello!!! My name is Teddy and let me "tell" you! My foster mom has given me an indian name as well!! I am called, "The little dog who is short, brave and like to talk back a whole lot :)" In other words, she LOVES ME!!! I mean SURE I am a talker, but if you want EVERYONE to know what you want and what you like... you can't be quiet!! So here I am, Teddy the Talker... a super smart and sassy boy who keeps everyone on their toes (or I may chew them!!) I am a youngster, only about 3 months old, I came in a sad and skinny kid but now I am thriving! Kind of like a plant, food/water/love, REPEAT! I am ready for my FUREVER family and let me TELL you, I love KIDS, and other dogs and people and food and toys and....... all kinds of things! I am a boxer mixed boy with ears that flip flop all over the place and a personality that will keep you entertained. I just really want a fun and active family who will use my smarts to make me the best friend they could ever have.... just takes time and training and yes, a BUNCH of treats too please!
