HI - I'M MICKEY.... and I have the most beautiful, wishful, soulful eyes. I am a handsome and sweet 4-year-old boy, who been waiting too long for someone to choose me. I am a small and friendly Boxer-Pit mix in need of a foster or forever home. I was saved from a California shelter, and weigh about 51 lbs. I do well with my doggy neighbors at my current location, and have been a model citizen. I would love human companionship, since I welcome human attention and affection, and would love to go for walks, hikes or other outings. Can you open your home and heart to me? I really have waited too long for someone to choose me. Please email for an application.

Great semi energetic snuggly little boy!! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com or https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other Rubble is a 6 mos old (DOB 8 Feb 2023) 40 lb Boxer/Retriever mix. He will be a medium to large dog as an adult. Rubble, his mom (45 lb) and littermates were found running down access road of a highway when they were 5 weeks old. Everyone in litter and mom died of Distemper (due to owner not giving them shots). Rubble is the sole survivor. He will be special needs throughout his life. He is a very special puppy that has tons of love to give and loves all humans, children, playing with other polite /low energy dogs, playing with toys and visiting with volunteers/staff getting chicken /treats. Did we say he LOVES his humans? When he plays and does his walk abouts you do not see any affects of distemper. He is crate trained, walks on a leash and loves car rides. He will benefit from some continued obediance training and public socialization with new environmental objects. He will play, then will hang out on the couch or your lap. He requires an owned home with a securely fenced yard in a colder climate as the hot TX temperature is not conducive to his health. He is looking for a special needs mixed breed dog experienced family. He will do best with another dog companion and someone that works from home or caregiver (female) is home. No apartments. Please be patient, we answer you back as quickly as possible. ***Please check your Junk/Spam folder for reply e-mails from us, if its been more than 72 hours*** I am rapidly approaching my 1 year anniversary (less than 30 days away) at the shelter!! Hello, I'm Gemma! I'm young and full of life, between 18mths to 2yrs, spayed female. I can figure out puzzles and games in no time. I can be a bit goofy, but that's part of my charm. I take a bit to warm up, but have come so far over the last year. I am most comfortable with woman, it may take a few times for me to be comfortable with you, but once I am you will see why the shelter team loves me so much. I am the goofiest of goofy dogs, I am incredibly smart, I love to run our field and love toys, I am also protective, of my beloved humans, I listen well, and my recall is nearly 99%, I don't require a dog buddy, because you are my buddy. I would prefer a home with a large yard or acreage so I have something to do. The shelter team has spent months helping me past my trauma and they just want you to see what they see, can you be that person, can you give me love and patience? My adoption fee is $200. Includes Spay, Microchip, Vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment and a 1lb bag of food. 1. What type of residence do you live in?? Home, condo, duplex? 2. Do you have a private fenced yard-not shared with another residence? 3. Do you have the time and patience to let her get comfortable in your home, learn your routine, take her for walks, play fetch? 4. How many hours will she be alone a day? 5. Have you ever owner a dog before, if so please tell us about them. 6. How many people and age groups in the home? 7. How many animals and types?

Story
Blue is a very loving and affectionate dog. He is a huge cuddle bug and couch potato. He forgets his size and thinks he's a lap dog. He loves to be tucked into his bed and loves to sunbathe. He does have to have a small fuzzy blanket for suckling. This is how he self soothes we call them his luvies. Blue is very food motivated. Would do best as only pet in the home may be ok with very slow introductions. He was a foster fail our family just fell in love with him and his sweet demeanor. My husband is a 100% disabled veteran and needs my help with daily tasks. We are on a very fixed income and cannot afford his allergy medicine. Blue has skin allergies requiring apoquel twice a day during a flare up and once a day to maintain. The cost on average is $3 a pill. We call him our old man. He is very laid back and just wants lots of attention and affection. Definitely a house hippo. He will come with all his luvies, toys and bed.

Queenie came in stray and we immediately fell in love with her. Queenie has loved every human she has met, but would do best in a home with children over 10yrs or no children, she loves dogs who are gentle like her. She loves to wander aorund the yard, sun bath, get her zoomies out (for maybe 10 minutes), she loves car rides, she is housebroken, loves comfy beds, likes to tell you about her day. Queenie knows sit, stay, leave-it, down (never jumps on people), kennel, walks fairly well on harness.
