Story
Meet Rosie, a super sweet girl with a heart as big as Texas! Rosie had a bit of an adventurous stint as a stray, but now she's all set to find her perfect forever home.Rosie is a furry socialite who gets along wonderfully with her fellow doggie pals. However, she does have one little quirk—cats and Rosie aren't exactly a match made in heaven. Those frisky felines tend to trigger her playful chase instincts! When it comes to humans, Rosie is a total cuddlebug. She's convinced she's a lap dog and won't hesitate to hop right up for some quality snuggle time. But here's the fun part: Rosie's got a spirited teenage attitude. When she's told "no" or caught doing something she shouldn't, she's not one to back down quietly—she'll talk back with all the sass!If you're ready to bring a sweet and silly addition to your family, Rosie is more than prepared for her forever home. And yes, she's absolutely transportable, so don't let the Texas distance discourage you, transport only costs $230. Apply today and let the fun begin! Online Application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
Meet Johnny! Johnny is a sweet little bulldog mix boy, who came to us in very rough shape. Poor Johnny entered the shelter system underweight with a terrible case of demodex mange and quickly developed pneumonia. Once he came into our care he went straight to our vet to start treatments to hopefully get him on the road to recovery. Johnny has been doing wonderful and now that he is feeling better we are starting to see his personality come out. He is a loving boy who does well with other dogs, is very food motivated and has discovered how cool toys are! We are unsure how old Johnny is but believe he is somewhere around a year old, although he acts like a much younger puppy. Johnny looks like a boxer but is a small guy at 32 pounds. He may fill out a little but we don't think he will get much larger. Johnny's ideal home would be a family who has the time to dedicate to potty training, crate training, socialization and obedience training. Johnny would love another balanced canine sibling in the home, preferably a female or older male. Johnny is still recovering from his demodex mange ( not contagious) and requires medicated baths weekly and staying up to date on Bravecto, which we will support for the next couple months for him. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Johnny's forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website!   Johnny would do great in a home with...Cats : Yep! Dogs : Yep!  Kiddos : Yep!   ##2234474##

I'm gonna make you an wo-offer you can't refuse. That's Pacino's favorite phrase. The adoption deal is simple: a roof over his head, a cold dish of water, daily meals and treats, plus an abundance of love. What? It's a good deal! Pacino, now over a year old, has become a true Dogfather. He is well-behaved, happy-go lucky, is very handsome, and has a wonderful, playful nature; he fits seamlessly into any family. His lineage boasts a long line of Dog-Father's, tough dogs out in the world whose business is their own. But, they are loyal, loving and strong characters to have around you.. He's a potty-trained and crate-trained gentleman, but he still has a penchant for chewing. He adores treats and toys, but can go through them quickly. Proper and slow introductions to other dogs are essential. Pacino would thrive best with older kids. Join the legacy and give Pacino the family he deserves. After all, a dog like him is an offer you can't refuse. Story
Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Sammy is an approximately 2 yo. 60 lb., playful girl. Sammy has come to us pretty insecure but has gained confidence through her training and is doing fabulous. Sammy loves to play with toys. She loves to chase and tug and play with the ball. She's probably one of the most play driven dogs we've had so her adopter must enjoy fulfilling that drive. Once Sammy has had a good play session and some nice walks, she settles nicely with a good chew bone in her crate. Sammy walks well on leash, does well in her crate, is potty trained, knows general obedience, as well as the "place" command. We're looking for adopters who want to continue her training as well as provide her with the structured environment she's had at our rescue. She thrives in such a setting. Sammy is also very affectionate and loves a good snuggle session. She's a people dog who enjoys just hanging out with them, in typical pittie fashion. Sammy is a medium energy dog with a general calm temperament. She loves going on hikes and rides very well in the car. She does well with other friendly and respectful dogs. She was unsure of them when she came to us but slow introductions with our wonderful helper dogs have given her the ability to feel more comfortable and confident around them. She's been doing great with dogs her size. She doesn't quite know how to play properly but is slowly figuring it out. All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application. Story
Alina was born around 05/15/24. Her siblings were adopted and now it's time for this sweet girl to find a home of her own. Alina is confident and energetic. She loves nothing more than to play, either with the flirt pole, play tug, or fetch with her favorite ball. Alina has done well on hikes with multiple dogs. Even though she likes to chase during play, she has not shown any interest in our chickens or cats. She actually ignored them both. Alina does well in her crate and is learning how to nicely walk on leash. Alina is friendly with other dogs and enjoys to play. She's definitely a sassy and more dominant girl. Alina has learned commands quickly and is smart and driven. She's super food and toy motivated which makes training relatively easy and fun. She will need an active home that keeps her mentally and physically stimulated. Alina is a fun dog who has no fear issues, and with the correct training can be taken anywhere. We think she'll be about 50-60 lbs. full grown. She been spayed, has had 3 sets of vaccines including rabies, is microchipped and dewormed. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an adoption application on our website www.walllflowersshine.com/application. We always post videos of all of our dogs on our IG page, the_wallflowers_shine_project, under "stories" and "highlights". Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs.

Story
Malone is approximately 1 yo., 60 lbs. Malone is sweet and goofy and still has some of the puppy characteristics. However, in general he has a beautiful calm demeanor. Malone loves his walks and enjoys playing with the flirt pole or a good round of tug. He has a typical bully personality in that he's down for mostly anything active but then can also chill nicely and chew on a good bone. He can be a goofy boy who has some silly mannerism and loves a good snuggle with his people. Malone is potty and crate trained and walks fabulous on leash without many distractions. He knows basic commands. He does get excited when he sees other dogs on walks but we've been working with him diligently and he is doing well for the most part. We're looking for someone to continue with his training as he's gotten an awesome foundation. We've also started "place" work which has helped him with his impulse control. Malone does well with easy going dogs with slow introductions. We think he'd enjoy a female buddy in his home who is non-confrontational and chill but loves a good wrestle at times. All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible.
