He will be a medium to large dog as an adult. Rubble, his mom (45 lb) and littermates were found running down access road of a highway when they were 5 weeks old. Everyone in litter and mom died of Distemper (due to owner not giving them shots). Rubble is the sole survivor. He will be special needs throughout his life. He is a very special puppy that has tons of love to give and loves all humans, children, playing with other polite /low energy dogs, playing with toys and visiting with volunteers/staff getting chicken /treats. Did we say he LOVES his humans? When he plays and does his walk abouts you do not see any affects of distemper. He is crate trained, walks on a leash and loves car rides. He will benefit from some continued obediance training and public socialization with new environmental objects. He will play, then will hang out on the couch or your lap. He requires an owned home with a securely fenced yard in a colder climate as the hot TX temperature is not conducive to his health. Marian is a 1-year-old black and white pittie mix with a zest for life and a heart full of love! 💖 Whether it’s long walks on the beach, hiking, or just splashing around in the sprinkler, Marian is ready to be your partner in all things fun and adventurous! Marian is an incredibly good girl who gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, dogs, and even chickens! She loves watching the chickens throughout the day and being gentle with everyone around her. Marian is quiet and peaceful, enjoying tranquility but also loving playtime, especially with kids. Her foster family says she’s a darling, looking for her forever family to share love and joy with. Marian dreams of a family with kids who want to play and a yard where she can run and explore. She enjoys pack walks with her seven foster mates and does great with leash greetings in the yard. Marian is working on her crate training and loves to tuck herself into her crate with her toys or curl up for a rest. She gets along famously with all the dogs in her foster home, especially the Chihuahua! While she needs a bit of leash work, Marian corrects easily and loves learning new things. When it comes to cats, Marian had a little interest in our resident cat at first, but once he jumped up into the cat tree, she let it go. At home, she has no interest in the cats and even gets bullied by a new one without reacting. 🐾 Marian is still a young pup, so she needs a family ready to commit to training, socialization, and all the fun (and chaos) that comes with puppyhood. MEET DANDIE! Dandie is a beautiful 8-month-old bully girl who is full of love, inquisitive and playful. She was rescued from high kill shelter. She was emaciated and clearly neglected in the past. Someone left her on a busy intersection and she was very lucky to have NOT been hit by a car. Dandie loves people and pets and is very friendly with everyone she meets. I do well with some dogs (I used to live in a home with a female dog), but prefer people to other dogs so I can get all of the attention.
