Meet Samantha – Straight Outta Compton Samantha has come a long way and is now in Portland, OR. This three-legged Mini Boxer may have had a rough start on the streets of Compton, CA, but she is ready for a life of comforts and love! Before we rescued her, Samantha was hit by a car and suffered some injuries that led to the loss of her leg—but don’t worry, she hasn’t let that slow her down - much! Now fully vetted (spayed, vaccinated, and healing beautifully), Samantha is ready to find her forever home. Quick Facts: Around 1 to 1.5 years old Weighs about 40 lbs 90% potty trained (probably even closer to 100% by now!) Athletic, even on three legs Loves people and bonds deeply with her humans This little survivor is all about togetherness—whether you’re chilling on the couch or heading out for a walk, she wants to be right there with you. In fact, she once hopped right over a 3.5-foot fence just to get to one of her rescuers. Talk about loyalty! Samantha enjoys other dogs and loves to play, especially with pups who match her energy. She is also great around chill dogs who prefer to be left alone. She does guard her space and food a bit from other dogs (a totally understandable quirk we’ll help you work through with positive reinforcement training). She’s not a fan of cold weather, loves to chase the hose, and thinks that a cozy couch is the best thing ever. Koda is a 3 year old Boxer/Husky mix who is looking for his furever home. He loves to sit on the couch and watch tv, go for walks, play with other dogs and just be loved. Koda is very athletic and needs space to run. He is great with other dogs and kids, in fact he would prefer a home with both. If you are looking for a sweet/loving/loyal family dog, Koda is your guy! Rehoming because my job requires more hours.

Arnold is a wonderful senior Boxer. He is super goofy and loving. All he wants is to snuggle all day and take short walks. It breaks my heart re home him but I can no longer provide for him. I am a newly single mom to a 2 year old and 6 week old. I now live in a townhome where I have to take him out on leash for potty breaks. He is great on leash but no matter how much I take him out he is constantly having accidents inside. He needs a new home with easy access to a yard or someone with enough time to work with him or take him out constantly.

Meet Abbey LIverpool! She is currently 7 months old, and we think she may be a Boxer/Pittie mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! Bully breed lovers, this one is for you! Sweet Benny is an adorably block-headed, low-riding best-of-both-worlds Bulldog, Boxer mix! Playful, clever and usually excited, Benny is giving us all bully-breed realness. Of course he is a rescue so his exact breed and age are unknown to us. These are simply our best guesses! We estimate Bennys age to be around a year and a half old, still puppyish in all of the best ways but past the point of puppyhood terrors. He is currently fostered in a home with kids as young as three, and he does well with them. Benny is a people-lover to his core, waggy tailed and bright eyed with every new person he meets. With other dogs, Benny is friendly and fun! He’s an excited greeter, ready to play, and friendly with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Here at the rescue, Benny met 80 pound pittie mixes and a 20 pound terrier mix and did well with everyone. He is small dog friendly. Benny is currently fostered in a multi-dog home and shares toys, treats and affection well. Benny is ready for his forever home, and we believe he would do best with someone familiar with his breed type. We think he would be happier in a house with a yard, rather than an apartment. Benny could live with another dog, a confident female would be best. We do not recommend him for a home with kitties, though. Tootsie Pop is sweeter than her namesake and twice as cute! We believe Tootsie is a Black Lab, Boxer mix, though she is a rescue so these are simply our best guesses. Tootsie is estimated to be around a year old and weighs in at a slight 49 pounds, the perfect size for lap sitting. She does well with everyone in the house- playful with the pups that wish to play, and respectful and kind toward the grumpier, older pups that wish for peace. Here at the rescue, she did wonderfully with the other dogs she met. Her joyful energy even got a rarely playful long-stay-rescue-dog to play chase with her! In her forever home, we think a goofy male would be the best doggy-sibling match for her. Her foster mom brags that she is crate trained and seems to be fully potty trained- she does not have accidents indoors. She does well in her crate and will go in for a little treat! Tootsie is super smart, she knows “sit” and she’s picking up on leash training quickly. She will need a confident leash walking human to teach her the ropes, she’s new to the whole “well loved dog” thing, but eager and excited to learn. A huge fan of the finer things in life, Tootsie loves toys. Nylabones, stuffies, chews- you name it! She shares her toys well with the other dogs in the home too. While we haven’t seen Tootsie with kids just yet, we think she would be an amazing family dog for a home with kids 10+. She loves going places with her foster family, and has met kids at events and done well with them. From the moment you meet her, Tootsie is such a warm and friendly pup with so much love to give. She is so confident in new places, and always ready for the next adventure- now she’s ready for her forever home. We think Tootsie would do best in a house over an apartment. We believe she would enjoy a more active family that will take her places and spend time with her. We don’t recommend her for a home with kitties. Lexi is a must meet fur baby. long-term foster needs forever home. About Lexi 40 lbs, 19 mo, fully grown . energetic, loves 2 run, chase balls & sticks. Very smart funny girl. Off leash and kennel trained. Loves rides, going to stores to get love from everyone she passes. She loves her toys and likes to play tricks on her human. Lexi is apprehensive in the beginning about new dogs. It takes her a sec to warm up but once she does she is good. She works best with male dogs, as she is an Alfa female. She can take up a whole bed, and loves to help with whatever you are doing. She thinks everything is a game. She is very food driven and a Very smart girl. And wants to be where you are. Apartment living not ideal as she has always had a yard. She has always had someone at home. She needs to run every day. Unfortunately my other dog sustained an injury and requires. Extra care and can't give baby girl the time she needs bc of that we love her very much but must do what is best for Lexi.
