Max is a boxer / pit mix who was born in our care. He has been a dream pup since the day he was born! Max is the ultimate movie watching snuggle bug! He is a low-key goofball who keeps his foster family laughing! Max’s other hobbies include fetch, playing in the yard with the other dogs in his foster home, snuggles, snacks, and playing with his foster kids! Max has been raised around other dogs, cats, and kids. Best of all, Max is potty trained! He also knows basic commands and is crate trained, though he'd prefer to cuddle in bed with his people! Meet Bruiser, a big love bug! He is looking for a loving home. He doesn’t know how to snuggle, but he loves to rub his head against yours, it’s how he shows love! He was dealt a bad hand in life, but it hasn’t slowed him down a bit! He loves to be with his people, laying around, or sunbathing outside. He’s crate trained and potty trained and goes to his crate so willingly! He sleeps in his crate and doesn’t make a peep! He is very good with kids! He does have a tendency to be snappy and lunge at new dogs in public places because of his past, but he’s never had ANY issues with dogs he knows. He would have to be introduced slowly to new dogs. Bruiser would make a great addition to your family. Won't you give him a new start in life full of love and snuggles.

Meet Pumpkin! He is a 3 yr old neutered 65 lb Boxer/Pit Bull mix. He is house and crate trained, uses a doggy door, microchipped, and up-to-date on all shots. He loves everyone but does get excited when meeting new people. He is a very strong boy so he will need supervision around young children or seniors as he can knock you over. Once he knows you he calms down and is very gentle. He likes to cuddle and give sloppy kisses. He loves to play with toys. He does well with other dogs but needs a slow introduction. However, Pumpkin would be just fine by himself getting all the love and attention. No cats! Pumpkin is very smart. He can be an escape artist so a tall fence is needed. He loves to explore the backyard.

Bruno is a neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated 70 lb 3 yr old boxer mix. He's comfortable in crates but prefers cuddling with his humans. Bruno is housetrained and enjoys both indoor and outdoor time. He's affectionate, often nudging or pawing for attention, and likes to bring toys for playtime. Bruno gets along well with other dogs and children but hasn't been exposed to cats.

Meet Fae. She is the sweetest potato girl you didn’t know you needed! This girl loves to cuddle, she grunts like a piggy when she’s excited, and she’s never met a stranger! She’s great with kids and loves humans. Recently her mama left her with me, after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer and also having to go through a terrible divorce at the same time, she just couldn’t care for her at the time. However now, her prognosis is going to take a lot of money, time, and treatment and she thinks it’s time that Fae find a new forever home. She has been with us for 4 months and hasn’t had many problems getting along with our dogs, however she has gotten into a few spats recently with our oldest dog, and for that reason we would suggest she go to a home with no other dogs. Or if you are an experienced rescuer who knows how to help dogs assimilate into a pack, then that would probably be okay too. She gets along with cats fine, she just gets really excited about them and wants to chase.

Story
Scooby is about a year and 1/2 old Great Dane/Boxer mix. He is about 60 -70. pounds. Scooby is so sweet and it was hard for his foster mom to get great pics because Scooby loves to be super close to her. As she would take a step back to get his face in the frame of the picture, then he just scooted forward. He is a big sweetheart. He is very energetic and LOVES to chase balls and squeak toys. Scooby is crate trained and potty trained. Scooby's time was up at a local shelter and he knows his foster mom said yes to him right on time. He showers her with lots of love. No kitties for Scooby. He thinks those are just funny looking squirrels. If you are interested in Scooby, please email adoptions@petsandpeople.com and our adoption volunteer will share our questionnaire. Once approved, we will set an appointment for you to meet and adopt Scooby. Please share Scooby. He would do well in an active family and he gets along well with other dogs. Please email us directly for a faster response and we will send you our questionnaire. adoptions@petsandpeople.com We get many each day so please watch your spam/trash folders for our replies. Adoption fee for all dogs over 4 months is $200.00 each, which includes spay/neuter, vaccinations (including all puppy boosters for puppies under 4 months), worming, flea/tick treatment if needed, microchip and collar/leash/tags.
