Sweet Lovie. She has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma. Right now she is doing wonderful and doesn`t seem to be in any pain. We are hoping we can find a hospice home for her. The only thing Lovie doesn`t seem to like is cats. She gets along well with other dogs. Story
Qira is a sweet Boxer mix that came to Faithful Friends Animal Advocates as a stray in March 2017, when she was 11 months old. After being at FFAA for whopping 3 years, she was finally adopted and had a home of her own for a couple of years before finding herself being abandoned when her family surrendered her to Animal Control. When Faithful Friends received the call that she was there, we gladly took her back, even though our heart was broken for this poor girl. Unfortunately when she came back to us the second time, she was blind in in her left eye, but she doesn’t let that slow her down!If you count the days Qira was here before being adopted (995 days) and the days she has been here since being brought back (855+ days), she has been here for a combined total of 1,850+ days. She has spent over 5 of her 8 years inside of a shelter, and that is FAR too long. She NEEDS and deserves to get out of this stressful shelter environment and finally have the home she has always dreamed of. She loves her stuffed animals and to play tug of war. She also enjoys going for leisurely walks and is always ready to snuggle up on the couch! With the blindness in her left eye, she is occasionally prone to startling easily. Because of this, she would do best in a home without young children. She is not reactive towards other dogs when she is out and about, but she tends to be selective when meeting them up close--she doesn't like excitable, hyperactive dogs to be in her space.

Story
Alpine will be 2 years old on April 1st. My brothers dog ended up having puppies, Alpine was one of them. He is a very smart dog and was potty trained in a day. He can also learn a trick in a day. He knows sit, stay, lay down, spin, high five, double high five, paw, shake, he knows how to hold a treat on his nose, and to come to you. He does have separation anxiety and does better when he is surrounded by people. He doesnt like to be in a kennel when he knows there are people around. He has a lot of energy and needs a place to be able to run and play. He struggles living in an apartment due to his energy and barking when playing. He does better in a house with a backyard. He is a people person but he is also good around kids. He has not shown aggression towards anyone. He loves cats and likes to try and play with them. He is a lovable goofball and likes to do upside down smiles at you. He also loves having clothes on, especially pjs. I am moving and cannot take him with sadly.

Story
Hi there. Saddens me to write this but I have tried for the pet few months to make it work with sweet Echo, and I just know she needs and deserves all the attention in the world that I cannot give. I adopted her when she was around 1 they said but not certain, but her shots were on September 11, so that is when we would celebrate it. She will be 1 this year. She’s LOVES ppl, and certain dogs once she gets used to them. She can show some aggressive tendencies at first but NEVER bit another dog. She needs someone who is attentive and patient. I take her on runs and she is amazing when playing fetch. Very athletic and strong for her size and a huge heart. She can’t get enough love and affection, I just wish I could show her more than I presently do. I work so much and come home every 2-4 hours to play with her, but it’s a lot for me. If I had space for her to run around during the day, she would be much better for hours! I love her to death and that’s why I want what’s best for her.

Story
This is our sweet little foster Kyra! She is the sweetest, most lovable teddy bear you'll ever meet! She's incredibly smart and just wants to please everyone she meets. She is house trained and knows lots of commands. She has a great temperment, but is picky with other dogs. She gets along great with our pity mix mazy, who has a very submissive personality. She doesn't get along as well with our shep/husky mix who has a more dominant/assertive personality. Kyra doesn't have any aggression or bite history. She has a very calm personality and mostly just wants to chill with her person or be near them. She's kennel trained and incredibly well behaved. You just have to meet this good girl!
