Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Introducing Freddie!! This handsome fellah is ready to wiggle his way right into your family to find a family to grow up with. He has entered our DASH Prison Training Program where he is learning his puppy manners and basic commands. He is working on (& getting pretty good with) sit, stay, down, wait & leave it. Freddie is great on a leash, is (mostly) housebroken in the prison environment but will need continued training & encouragement to get these down while he acclimates to his new home. He will go into his crate but whines if he is left alone because he'd rather be with his person. He likes playing with the other dogs but has not been cat tested. His handler says Freddie is a happy, playful, affectionate, energetic little boy. With all that puppy energy a meet and greet is recommended especially with younger children. He'd love to come home with you, apply today! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 5, 2025, 1:20 pm

Story
Unfortunately Addy has had quite the tough last few months, and this sweet lady is more than ready to find her furever family to provide lots of TLC. Addy came to us as a stray after being hit by a car and wandering into our trap. As a result of being hit by the car, Addy suffered broken bones and a dislocated hip. Some surgeries and lots of rest later, and Addy is finally on the mend! Addy can be shy with new people, especially men, but she is always willing to make friends when there's food involved. Once you've gained Addy's trust, she is a total sweetheart that loves to snuggle and will melt right into your lap. Though Addy is physically recovered from her injuries and surgeries, she is looking for a quiet and patient home that can help her emotionally recover. If you have other animals at home we recommend bringing them in for a meet and greet before taking Addy home. If you are interested in meeting Addy, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit. Story
Ana and Dovah are ‘brother and sister’ and we would really like them to go together. Ana is about two years old, and is very soft spoken. Learns very well and is very sweet. Dovah is her ‘brother’ and is about 18 months old. He’s still a puppy and still does chew things sometimes. But he’s learning and both will be your best friend. They’re both very well house-trained and love to run and are in need of a nice yard. With the dogs comes: Fully kitted and vetted, Ana has tags. Dovah doesn’t but they both have vet papers. Leashes collars, vests, shocking collars, bags and bags of treats. Full bag of dog food. Expensive wet food. Miscellaneous things like pop up dog bowl. Dog poop bags. Dog perfume. Medicated ear cleaner. Tooth brush and tooth paste. Water additive for healthy teeth
