Story
Hello! We see that you are interested in Humphrey. Every day we are getting to know more about Humphrey and his unique quirks and personality. He has lived with other dogs in his previous home and done amazing with them. So far we have noticed how great he is with other dogs. He has been amazing with all the dogs we have had him in playgroups with. His true personality shines when he is with other dogs. He is a very sweet boy. Once he gets to know you he loves to snuggle up and give kisses. He is sure to melt your heart. He has been around and lived with children ages 0+ and has done well with them. Humphrey was crate trained and house broken when he came to us, but may need a refresher due to being in a shelter setting. He is a very active boy and will need plenty of space to run and play. While Humphrey does know a few commands such as sit and wait, he would greatly benefit from consistent and ongoing training, to keep him being the best boy he can be. Are you interested in getting to know Humphrey? Please stop by SPCA Cincinnati to visit him and all our adoptable pets.

Story
Meet Maxwell, a 2-year-old energetic and affectionate lapdog who has spent over a year and a half at the shelter. This handsome boy is eager to learn and grow with the right family. He loves to jog next to our volunteers, often carrying a toy in his mouth, and is always ready for a game of catch.Maxwell knows “sit” and is learning “stay” and “down.” Though he may pull on the leash at first, he quickly settles into a steady walk. He’s housebroken, vocal, and affectionately known as our “kissing bandit” for his love of showering people with attention.Maxwell still has plenty of puppy energy and would thrive with consistent training and guidance. A meet-and-greet is a must with any kids or four-legged family members to ensure the perfect fit. Don’t let this vibrant, young dog spend another day in the shelter—he’s ready for his forever home!Maxwell is also available for foster or for a Paw Pass Adventure! Story
Luna Bean is a moderately energetic dog who loves giving kisses to anyone who will allow it! She LOVES squeaky toys and ropes that she can play tug of war with. She can be very curious but often finds herself a little nervous by loud and unexpected noises. While she loves attention, she likes a slow introduction before sharing any juicy gossip, she needs to know she can trust you. She would do very well in an active home where she can expand on her leash training. Luna Bean is the Queen of her world and she will pick where to walk YOU! Once she is done with her activities for the day, all she wants to do is cuddle up next to her favorite person. Luna Bean has done well with dogs and children previously. However, we recommend bringing your resident dog and/or children for a meet n` greet. She has been house broken in the past but may need a refresher after being at the shelter. Adopt Luna Bean or schedule a Paw Pass Adventure today! For more information regarding the Paw Pass Adventure, please contact 513-687-7598.

If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Fiona (Fifi for short)! Fiona is a 7-year-old, 45lb Boxer mix. This gal may be a little older, but she has the energy of a younger dog. She weighs a healthy 45lbs with all of the playfulness and loyalty of a Boxer. Fiona is a playful and energetic dog who would thrive in a home with a furry or human sibling to keep her company. She's a regular at doggy daycare, where she burns off energy and shines as a social butterfly. Though she enjoys snuggling up from time to time, Fifi's true passion is exploring. However, her curiosity can lead her into some mischief-she's a talented escape artist, capable of slipping out of crates, leads, and even fenced yards. Fiona would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time, and having another dog as a companion would be ideal for her. She loves peanut butter-filled bones, which help to keep her occupied, and she's highly treat-motivated, with pig ears being one of her favorites. If left outside alone, Fifi may attempt to escape in search of her humans, but tasty rewards can help redirect her focus. Her favorite treats include peanut butter, Cheerios, and pig ears, though she has a sensitive tummy and shouldn't be given much human food. If you're looking for a loyal, playful companion who adores being outdoors and spending time with the whole family, Fifi is your girl! She'll keep you entertained with her playful spirit, and when it's time to relax, she's always ready for cuddles and face kisses. Fiona is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $250.00 To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination.
