Hello! We see that you are interested in Humphrey. Every day we are getting to know more about Humphrey and his unique quirks and personality. He has lived with other dogs in his previous home and done amazing with them. So far we have noticed how great he is with other dogs. He has been amazing with all the dogs we have had him in playgroups with. His true personality shines when he is with other dogs. He is a very sweet boy. Once he gets to know you he loves to snuggle up and give kisses. He is sure to melt your heart. He has been around and lived with children ages 0+ and has done well with them. Humphrey was crate trained and house broken when he came to us, but may need a refresher due to being in a shelter setting. He is a very active boy and will need plenty of space to run and play. While Humphrey does know a few commands such as sit and wait, he would greatly benefit from consistent and ongoing training, to keep him being the best boy he can be. Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too!
