To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Story
Meet Fiona (Fifi for short)! Fiona is a 7-year-old, 45lb Boxer mix. This gal may be a little older, but she has the energy of a younger dog. She weighs a healthy 45lbs with all of the playfulness and loyalty of a Boxer. Fiona is a playful and energetic dog who would thrive in a home with a furry or human sibling to keep her company. She's a regular at doggy daycare, where she burns off energy and shines as a social butterfly. Though she enjoys snuggling up from time to time, Fifi's true passion is exploring. However, her curiosity can lead her into some mischief-she's a talented escape artist, capable of slipping out of crates, leads, and even fenced yards. Fiona would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time, and having another dog as a companion would be ideal for her. She loves peanut butter-filled bones, which help to keep her occupied, and she's highly treat-motivated, with pig ears being one of her favorites. If left outside alone, Fifi may attempt to escape in search of her humans, but tasty rewards can help redirect her focus. Her favorite treats include peanut butter, Cheerios, and pig ears, though she has a sensitive tummy and shouldn't be given much human food. If you're looking for a loyal, playful companion who adores being outdoors and spending time with the whole family, Fifi is your girl! She'll keep you entertained with her playful spirit, and when it's time to relax, she's always ready for cuddles and face kisses. Fiona is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $250.00 To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Heidi - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! My name is Heidi, full of youthful exuberance for life, innocence and curiosity. Ready to crawl right into your heart (won't take long either!!) and be a part of a family...YOUR family! I am still a youngster yet, a big puppy at heart! I have lots of energy and am quite agile. I could be a great candidate for obedience classes and maybe even some fun ones like agility classes. I'm a smart cookie (i know cuz my foster mom tell me so!) and catch on quickly. At 11 months and around 45lbs, I shouldn't get much bigger at my adult weight. What a perfect size for...everything! Neighborhood strolls, nature hikes(aaaah, all those wonderful tantalizing smells), camping, being a co-pilot for errand runs or trips to the park! You name it, I'm ready to give it a whirl and have a blast too (with whatever it is) just cuz we're doing it together!! And the bestest part is that I'm also small enough that I don't hog the whole couch for my cherished cuddle time!! My foster mom wanted you to know this about me - -she is housebroken -she wants to be a lap dog; -she would fit well with an adult home with older children; -with her high prey drive she should be in a home without small dogs or cats but will do well with her size or larger size breed of dogs; -she is a fast learner and will shine with an owner that will include her in their everyday life adventures; -she is crate trained; -she follows basic commands and walks well on leash; -she thrives on daily walks; -she’s a family dog and will make a fabulous family member; -she loves walks, hikes, exploring, tug of war and games using her nose and sparking her intelligence; -she’s quite agile and shows ability in figuring out how to jump over or crawl under set obstacles. She is happy, fun loving and eager to bring joy to her forever home! As my short sleek coat is low maintenance in the grooming department, making me more of a wash-n-to type of gal. And you do know what that means don't you?!! Oh yep yep, lots of extra time in the 'spoil me rotten' department. And you know that's what it's all about!! ;) Big on personality, smart and inquisitive, affectionate and sweet, my oh my I have a boatload of great traits going on, oh and don't forget my stunning good looks, to make me a great family addition, I just need the family...could it be YOUR family?

I is a ball of affection, playfulness, and curiosity! I am an adventurous pup that is on the lookout for a forever home to call my own. Could that possibly be with YOU?!! I am around 4 months old and come in at about 20lbs which should make me a pawsomely perfect mediumish size of 40-45 lbs when I get myself fully growed up. I has many friends here both hooman and doggies. And I'm always eager to greet either one who crosses my path! I also loves playing with all the other foster pups and would make a great 'sibling' for another furbaby or I'd be great getting all the attention as your one and only. If you're ready for some adventure, Sven here (that's me!!!) is the perfect companion for you. I can't wait to see what fun the world has in store for us - and to steal your heart, too! If your searching for a fun loving interactive dude for a BFF, a sidekick, a cohort in crime, you're in luck, I'M that boy!!!
